Things are really kicking off now!

The imperium are here and they are about to launch their first blow in their campaign against the Tandraxian Empire. You’re about to witness the imperium go to head to head with the only power which can give it a run for its money.

There’ll be one more page of talking after this one, and then we’ll join the action outside and watch it unfold!

still absolutely adore the design and concept of the thing that holds the flux gates open, it’s just so cool. now time to pull an Erika Spooner. was sowing the distrust we see between Doubt(?) and Deicide a calculated move on AM’s part? are those Imperium ships in the flux doing a deceleration burn? is a Tandal a caste of Tandrax, i assume? are we going to get a single or a few Overfathers/Thoughtlords commanding this invasion? the hype this page is building has got me hella curious, sorry 😅

pretty sure the Tandrax were only fighting the Imperium’s Krakens before. excited to see how they deal with a dedicated invasion force and those huge ships with the tentacles. might be closer than you think if they don’t get that Flux gate closed asap

Thanks so much, I’m really glad that you like the imperium Norns. They’re basically just humongous mobile ELAN batteries with a capability to tear spacetime. Haha I wouldn’t say so, I can’t see how she could have any meaningful influence over these events. Doubts role on the council is to be hyper critical and give no benefit of the doubt to the argument or case presented to the council, the masks are almost like Ancient Greek play masks, the wearer takes on an exaggerated archetype and justice is the mediator between the other four. But hey, it’s possible that the all-mother could be subtly psionically interfering with the council. That’s exactly right, that’s why they’re facing away from the wormholes mouth. Nope, I have in my mind that a Tandal is more like a horse or a camel, but that’s an interesting idea though and you have me thinking that maybe it should be a lower caste! The idea of the Tandrax having bred a servant caste that they ride as mounts is pretty damn weird, but people like weird. You know I can’t spoil things like that, but I can reassure you, stay hyped, things are about to get crazy!

yeah the Norns just make the Imperium that much scarier in both design and function ohhh my bad i didn’t even realise they were wearing masks, but looking back i do really like that idea. i’m surprised the Tandrax wouldn’t notice her influence, but if they did they’d be spurred into action sooner. Deicide is probably doing the same thing the cheeky bastard still loving the hard sci-fi and psionics mix ooo it never occurred to me that different species from the same planet would be able to speak the same language, very cool idea. well, servants in ye olde-olde used to prop up people of status on carryable thrones, which makes us a pretty weird species by itself haha looking forward to what you have in store for us and the cast!
