Things are about to get a little real, but I feel it’s necessary for character development.

Also there will be a brief delay on the next page because I’ve got my last two shifts at my job! It’s time to go alllll in on Humanity Lost. I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying spring!

Cool concept with the inflatable hub. Can other suits join their backs together?

Hive Fleet Kaleesh

If this is what it looks like when you're working as well, I can't wait to see what all in looks like!!

Anthony Pratt

I wonder if the suit Loste is using is specialized for use on Chiron specifically or if it's just a standard model?

FoxHunt

Can't help but hear the AI's voice as a softer yes man

CallumStephenDiggle

Probably much the same tbh haha I’m part time, so probably something like an extra page a week, it’ll make a difference in the long run for sure though.

CallumStephenDiggle

Haha well, I imagine he sounds like michael fassbender’s David8 character from Prometheus/covenant.

Cartoon dinosaur

if a child had that kind of suit they would use it like a hamster ball. hell ID use it as a hamster ball!!!

Haladrias

i am really digging the inflatable hab unit built into the suit. that is really incredible.

Gibbons

I finally got caught up! I can't wait for more

Miningation

If that was a real suit, people would buy it only for that singular bubble feature.

Emanuel Fuentes

The suit reminds me of the ones the cosmonauts used in “Seveneves” by Neal Stephenson. Pretty good book if you haven’t checked it out yet.

Oh that’s great to hear, there’s multiple new pages coming every week so the Adventure goes on my friend.

Found this comic through a YouTube video, and I'm hooked! Big fan of the creature designs so far. My only criticism is that the writing can be a little brisk at times (such as the lack of curiosity upon hearing that you've found the last member of an extinct species) however I understand the necessity of expedience when every conversation has to be inked. I hope we get to see some displays of physical expression from our various alien characters in the future. Their versions of smiling, shrugging, nodding, etc. That kinda stuff always fascinates me, because it's a great blend between biology and sociology.

Thanks so much Andrew and thanks for supporting my work. That’s definitely a fair and constructive criticism mate thank you, I’ll try to address it in future issues, this volume has been fully written and lettered but in volume 2 I will take what you said into account. You see that’s an interesting one, because would we as humans be able to pick up on some of these alien species expressions? Like, the kolaxans for example, they express emotion through the pigmentation of their smaller tentacle flaps and tone of their trumpet like voices. I imagine it’d be very hard for us as humans to understand their intent. But saying that, I have drawn a happy Yarkeen already with joyous squinted eyes and expressive body language. It’s an interesting challenge for sure, especially because I want to keep them very alien.

Imagine if the inflatable hab suit being filled up with helium. Fun way to pass the time

Hayden Noble

That suit is a few CENTURIES old. I wish my phone worked that well after even just five years. As always great work Callum Diggle.

Gabu

Love how the visual of him emerging from the suit lines up with his thoughts of emerging from the urgent state to rest and process. Then the metaphorical weight hits just like the gravity weighs his weaken frame down, even while we readers are excited by the lighter than air ship… great visual poetry, sir
