Deicide places the Uno reverse card!

These double page spreads take quite a bit of time and so much effort goes into them, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your Patronage. You supporting my work means so much and I do not take it for granted. You’re the best!

Next up I have a bit of commission work in to complete. Ryan Bowers has kindly provided me with work and I of course will show it to all of you here. It’s another Alien in the series of aliens he’s been commissioning me to do for him. He’s come up with a very unique concept for this one. It’s all building up ultimately to a book project of his so it’s something to get real excited about.

Im sorry, but i suppose you didnt notice my qustions above. I will repeat them 1.Why do all-mother need overfathers in the first place,if her mind is powerful enough to control every her creation? 2.Why cant she regain control of Deicide? And how did he became free? 3.How does laser tech in rifles and ships of imperium works? 4.How imperium ship fly(page 86), and what is that core in back (page 84)? 5. What about Oughrigadd's sword and beam from arm, and Deicide's psy-shield?

Sorry Philip yeah they must have slipped down the feed. 1) so basically the All-Mothers consciousness resides in a pocket universe outside of our own and is “cast” into our reality through things called emitters. To use an analogy: if the All-Mother’s consciousness can be thought of as WI-FI and the Emitters can be thought of as WI-FI routers, then the Overfathers are like conscious, mobile, WI-FI signal boosters. They extend her consciousness out and have some autonomy of their own. 2) he simply has a strong will and will not allow her in again, he also severed her connection through his third eye. 3) it uses a exotic energy source drawn from a universe with a different set of Physics to our own, like the Flux. 4) it had to be housed somewhere and that way it has a direct connection to the rear thruster, providing it with the most power. 5) well Oughrigadd is pretty tuckered out after taking a direct hit to the chest but he still has some tricks up his sleeve (look at the bottom right panel). Deicide lowered the shield so that he could fire back, it just dissipates and breaks away when it is lowered.

Man I hope Deicide can reconstruct his arm after whats clearly about to happen . Also can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to this upcoming alien… should be interesting to read everyone’s thoughts I don’t want to sound cocky but I think its got a pretty cool idea behind it and honestly I can’t wait to have this book in my hands but we’re still a couple of years out from that

Come on Big Daddy D for the win! Uncle O can't be the last brother he faces off with in the series. The potential for Oughrigadd to just be the first of the All-Mother's favorite sons to be sent after our Endling and the resistance is to good to keep this going for years to come.
