You really captured the emptiness of space with those last frames following the projectile, it feels so quietly destructive

I like writing military scifi for fun and this page is right on my wavelength. Love it every bit of this.

Shawn Bond

I thought that was some sort of gun 👍

Andre Martins

“You’re in space!” (“Portal 2” quote…)

Miningation

Crisis averted by magnetically propelled kinetic rods to the face.

jake

"to hits the target" might be a typo

Miningation

Also how did I miss that gun it’s so obvious now.

Haladrias

wow, that is one hell of a projectile.

Patrick Perkins

love the movement in those last three frames

Galm_1

That is a fucking horrifying munition. Space slugs are already fucked but a space shotgun? Bruh.

Cluster railgun... Jesus I'd be sad If the other ship were to be firing it

Cartoon dinosaur

You know. I like this more "realistic" depiction of future space battels. It may not be the moment to moment thrill ride of the basically navy/aerial battels of star wars and the like. But this waiting game of decisive shots seems like it will be fun and exciting!!!

Isaac Solar

The idea of simple yet complex and destructive ways to inflict harm in space is really fascinating.

CallumStephenDiggle

I really enjoy it too, the idea of just slugging objects at one another in the vacuum of space is always a cool one.

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah I’ve never really enjoyed those aerial dogfights in space, much more of a fan of slugging it out across great distances like in the expanse.

CallumStephenDiggle

It was, thanks for pointing that out Jake! It’s so easy to let things like that slip through!

Isaac Solar

not unless we on the receiving end of course 🗿

CallumStephenDiggle

I’m glad to hear it, Steve! There’s plenty more space action to come.

CallumStephenDiggle

You can just feel it passing though near nothingness at extreme speed. Thanks a lot!

2026-09-18 21:00 Ouch… Also the Anomalocaris ship looks almost like the extinct animal of the same name… we need more Cambrian-inspired imperium units
