Formerly human ship? Or text translated for our convenience?

CallumStephenDiggle

Translated because Deicide set it as the official lingua franca for the galactic Union.

Those two peaking through the door look like absolute reaction meme material.

Its fascinating, the naming thing. It says to me that names and identity have different meanings to post humans then they might to a normal human.

Looks like Skiv had a little accident on the floor there haha

This page is really funny for the interactions between the characters, brilliant to make English the lingua franca of the Galactic Union

CallumStephenDiggle

Individual identity is very important to post-human members of the galactic Union, especially seeing as within the Imperium their brothers are little more than brainless drones. It is a mark of their opposition to the All-Mother in a way. Names will actually play a bigger part in the story than you might expect, especially regarding Losté/Sam.

Thanks! Yeah, I’m really going to have them interact with each other a lot more in this volume. It really humanises the allied forces for the reader I feel, it also makes it easier for us too ay!

They’re slightly different, if you look close you’ll notice there are tubes going into Skivs breathing holes on their neck.
