The coloured version of this page should be dropping Sunday, if not, it‘ll definitely be up on Monday.

I had a feeling of nostalgia come over me whilst doing this page, it felt like a little call-back to page one of volume one.

Blimey, could you imagine! He’d have to be the most unlucky guy in the universe.

I gotta question about the name Humanity Lost, is it in reference to Paradise Lost? It makes sense either way but I just learned about Paradise Lost and was curious if it inspired the name.

I like where this is going 👍

I was aware of how similar it sounded when I named the series but I haven’t gone out of my way to match any points in the plot to John Miltons poem, if there are any, that’s a happy coincidence. The series is named Humanity Lost because Humanity Lost the Human-Conglomerate war. I own Paradise Lost actually but I’m yet to get to it, It’s on my list. I’ve just read Beowulf, the Poetic Edda and theogony, I’m working my way through Iliad and Odyssey, then Paradise lost is next.

I didn’t catch that! My reading was not a sentence humanity lost, but that the post-humans have lost their humanity

It’s that too, it has multiple meanings really and there’s multiple takes you could derive from the title, that’s kind of why I chose it.

you’ve expertly conveyed how Losté feels about stasis. the way the tube goes around his leg shows how uncomfortable he is, and the mask that took the skin off his face, causing pain, is unable to be removed. good job

I'm not sure why but deicide reminds me of optimus prime

Thanks so much, I’m really glad all of that came across in the piece!
