Here’s a little post to tide you over till I can get page 170 coloured on Monday. I’ve got the family coming down from ‘tup north this weekend, so I won’t be able to get anything done.

 This is bit of a retcon to the lore, but not by much. I figured I’d show off this map because you’ll be seeing some Doggerland knights later on this issue.

That is indeed why! There will be an updated version of this map coming soon and additional lore on the world map before the All-mothers activation.

This kingdom invokes a lot of norse and neo-pagan myths and historical events such as the unrealized project of Atlantropa. A new narrative project could be born only from here, it's mythical.

A significant part of the island of Sealand (Sjælland) in Denmark is reclaimed, and below sea level. My friend grew up near the pumping station that runs continually to keep the land drained.

I prefer the Santorini=Atlantis theory, but this sunken land always has a Druidic Atlantis feel to Avalon feel to me. Great map!

The entire region of England I live in called the fens is all drained/reclaimed land. My grandfather lives on a reclaimed island where the English government contracted the Dutch to use their centuries of expertise to drudge the island back from the sea. It’s part of the lore that the Dutch headed the Doggerland land reclamation program. In reply to Segg Gway: no I haven’t, but I’ll give it a search now.

Yeah the National religion is a type of pan-Germanic reconstructive paganism. I haven’t heard of Atlantropa before, so I’ll have to look that up. It certainly could and I intend to revisit it some time in the future.

Oh haha no you’ve got it wrong Rich, all these places were destroyed after the All-Mothers activation. You won’t be seeing Doggerland itself in the flashback mentioned, but you will be seeing a mech from there and a few soldiers. This post was just to flesh out a bit of background from where those troops came from.

Oh no it wasn’t the U.E that did that, it was the the composite nations of Doggerland that decided to construct them, of course they weren’t called Doggerland back then. The project took over a century to complete, but it was done with good reason. Because they were bordered on all sides by U.E. territory, they could not expand outwards as a civilisation. So their only option, was to expand inwards through the process of land reclamation.

2026-09-18 21:00 I was having one of those brain storms again... SO, think about this: The Kingdom of Doggerland I'm guessing is this last sovereign nation beyond the U.E. Different intelligence reports, probably a lot of espionage and such because who they hell is gonna trust the U.E.? Like The Wizard, they discovered info on project AM and sent a contingent out into deep space to a small moon world with resources, like a Europan type Moon. There, they set up shop, and prepared for what Doggerland analysts said was an inevitable consequence of Project AM. The damn fools at the U.E. are gonna kill us all! That would kick ass, then again everything kicks ass with HL.

It’s a Chapo Traphouse spin-off called Hinge Points. They talked about what the world would be like if Doggerland existed today — how capitalism would or wouldn’t have developed in England and how Europe would have been different if Great Britain was connected. Kinda silly, but also fun to think about.
