Should I keep on putting a blurred image with a spoiler warning before every post, or would you prefer it if I got rid of it all-together and saved you the faff of clicking on the next image?

I trust your judgement on when a spoiler is absolutely necessary, but in general it's a few extra clicks for me from my email, to patreon, to log in, then to the unspoiled image

In the phone app, whenever a post have more than one picture, when zooming in and trying to move the image - it will keep switching to the other picture. So I prefer without the additional blurry image.

A very good point, seeing as the overwhelming majority of people are in favour of the abolition of the spoiler warning, I will only use it sparingly on core narrative moments.

I can see that being a real pain in the butt, I will remove it on future posts ☺️ Thanks for your input!

i say get rid of it, loading the pages takes a while on my end so having to wait a little longer because of the spoiler is a bit annoying, i can just squint my eyes to get to the last part i was reading to avoid any spoilers

If I see an update in my email, I just take it as a given that opening that email, ipso facto, means I'm ready to look at the update. Spoilering it just adds an annoying unnecessary step in the way of seeing it.

After reading what people said, I agree. For new subscribers, it might help to pin the “catch-up” pdf posts, maybe?

Patupi

I tend to use the 'Feed' to show all my subs rather than view everything individually, and I'm not caught up in the story, so for me the spoilers help.

CallumStephenDiggle

That’s a damn good point, yeah I’ll definitely be scrapping the spoiler warning from now on.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks for the suggestion Gabu, but got that covered, all of the PDF’s are linked on the pinned post already.

I use Patreon for other stuff and I check in once every couple weeks (I am too weak to have a drip feed I need to binge) so I’ve been appreciating the spoiler-free feed.

CallumStephenDiggle

I appreciate your input, I’m going to keep the spoiler warning on majorly important moments in the story, but I will abide by the results of the poll.
