I just heard the big news! Congratulations. Seriously, being invited by the Pope himself to re-paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is a real honor and I hope you decide on a space battle theme. Because seriously, I love your ship designs and little details. The heat shields on the landing pods. The wrist restrains on the joysticks. There's so much thought put into this stuff.

I think the gist is that my work is very intricate like the work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It’s no where near, but it’s very nice of Charlie to say so 😂

I wonder how the Imperium posthumans are connected to their suits, if they are even separate from them. And how do they live in the suits? Also, could a locust dropship beat a fighter jet from our time?

I imagine they have points in which their nervous systems attach to the suit, like in Avatar, only it's a suit-shaped animal, instead of a weird dinosaur.

Why does All-Mother keep using human imagery in her creations? Like human faces, human hands etc etc.

it’s either for aesthetic purposes like on the Leviathan with its Thought-Lord faces or because it’s easier to use like the hand chairs we see in some imperium ships which a hand’s original function is to grab things so it would make a great chair because it needs to hang onto a passenger. Of course we do see lots of other animals mixed in there: octopi, locusts, cockroaches but in some cases it’s likely just easier to use one over the other. Likely a mix of function and aesthetic, where aesthetics are likely derived from emotional attachment to the original human race.

Aye, it’s as Blas said under your comment, their suits have haptic feedback “built” in. They can remove their suits, but they often do not as they don’t need to. They sort of just cohabit their suits and technology, never needing to part with it.

Its also possible they either serve some other purpose and just so happen to look aesthetic, or they are there to scare the Imperium's enemies.

The response time of the All-Mother’s forces makes me think that Deicide was set up. Either that, or She has a battlefleet of Leviathans standing ready in hyperspace. 🤔

The moment she realised that he was going to dissent she made preparations to eliminate him, when she realised that he had overcome and killed two of his superiors and gone on the run, then it was time to bring out the big guns. We don’t know exactly where the Leviathans came from as the viewer, they most likely came from a neighbouring system, hence the shortcut through the FLUX. It’s never a good idea to stand by in the Flux, it’s not the kind of place you want to hang about in.
