Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend, I spent mine figuring out what I have to do for publishing and I’m ready now to go ahead with it. I’m going to spend this next week creating a “guide to the Orion arm” booklet for the back pages of volume one. It will include a huge two page map of our galaxy with zoom in panels of various Conglomerate and non-Conglomerate worlds, it’s going to take some time and I’m going to have to finish it before the book can go to print. I will of course show this detailed map to you all on Patreon first, but yes, I just thought it’d be a cool thing to include in the end of the book to flesh out the universe of Humanity Lost that little bit more. this “guide to the Orion arm” booklet will be an easy bit of lore for people to flick back to whenever they want a refresher. I can’t believe the time is finally approaching for the physical release of Humanity Lost and it’s potentially only a few weeks away. More news coming soon!

they can leave their suits but they don’t need to: there are feeding and hydration apparatus on the ‘mouth’ of the suit. it’s not like they have the need to spend much time out of the suits anyway since they’re constantly at war

Right makes sense I was just imagining in my head an imperial locker room of sorts and any shenanigans that might happen there, also do you think the extra set of eyes on the suits let’s them see more things like thermals or night vision?, maybe even new colours since certain species of reptile and insect can see colours we can’t I wonder if the drones suits can let them see more than others

if there’s one thing I live about sci fi setting its when technology meet biological the biomechanical technology of sci fi civilisations is always a golden ticket with me half life was the first to set me down this path and when I watched alien it only made it better and now seeing it here is just the coolest thing it literally makes everything seem more alive

Congratulations! Normally, those kind of lore-related stuff are the more interesting things to read because they talk a lot about the time spent in building the universe. Sorry for the delay congrats, my mind just went away with my previous question hahaha. Let us know how to buy one copy of that first book!

Imperium Drone vs UE Peacekeeper, who would win? Also, do you think people are going to start making Imperium fan characters? Since there's only a small amount of Overfather's they might just think up a new Imperium caste who's individuals are not directly controlled by the All-Mother, maybe they'd be those spies we talked about earlier.

They can leave their armour, but they don’t tend to. You can think of them almost as symbiotic lifeforms. In reply to the other comments in the tread: An Imperium locker room is a funny idea 😂 but your other idea about one pair of the four eyes on the suit offering an expanded spectrum of vision is an extremely interesting one. I’d say that’s certainly a possibility and I may make that canon.

There will be different psionic links to their designated Over-father that they’ll be able to sense. Although they look identical to us, they can sense the difference between their two factions. Think of two rival ant hills, each ant hill uses slightly different pheromones linked to their queen and the two sides can tell one another apart.

Thank you Lukak! I was considering it, but I think so. It will be something I add in the end of volume two when all the big reveals have been made, it’s just too early in the series to do one because it’ll spoil a lot of the things that I have planned.

That’s an easy one, Imperium Drone! They’re ruthless killing machines that do not feel fear, the Peacekeeper is just a person with a job haha. Ryan, a chap on here already has done that actually, I saw that he posted it in the discord server. I love seeing any fan-art tbh so if anyone wants to make some, be sure to tag me on social media and post it in the fan-art section of the discord server.

It has been a long time coming Virgil, it would have come sooner if uninterested publishers hadn’t dragged the process out, but I’ve decided to go it alone and do it myself! It really is a labour of love this project of mine and I wouldn’t have been able to have committed myself to it in the way that I have without the help of patreons like yourself, so thank you!
