I’ll probably do an extra page on the Chantauri considering how central to the first volume they are. That extra page will probably be on their history and culture.

This is fascinating! An explicit definition about just one of the characters in the graphic novel. You have put so much effort into this. It's so good!

I love the idea of shifting seas. Of course, if tides were high enough to shift a sea like that, you'd get lots of heating in the interior of the world causing volcanic activity galore. It'd also cause a lot of drag over time, slowing the rotation. This happened to earth at the time when the moon was many times closer, sweeping overhead and dragging a mile high wave with it.

Chiron, where all is begun, his biosphere is unique and i like the differences between the sub-species of Chantauri race

Davide

Luke Skywalker sees Chiron: "oh no! A third Death Sta... wait, oops my apologize gang"

Logan

I love these little bonus pages. Your worldbuilding is superb

CallumStephenDiggle

I hope to do the same for all the species one day. Thanks so much Isaac! ☺️

CallumStephenDiggle

Very cool! Perhaps the volcanic activity you mentioned is what lead to the boil-off in most of the surface bodies of liquid on Chiron, perhaps this also lead to generating a greenhouse effect whereby Atmospheric escape occurred. I don’t know, I’m just spitballin’ here.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks, Davide! Chiron sure is where it all started, it’s a shame what happened to it at the end of volume one, but I needed to show just how formidable the imperium really is.

Miningation

what are the conditions like on Philrya? also in the case of a binary planet does the Imperium convert both into wombworlds or just one?

Blas Borde

This is really cool, how fast does chiron rotate on its axis? one of the seas will always be in the sun and the other in the shade right? Do they have names?

CallumStephenDiggle

It’s a hot, barren and rocky world with lava lakes on its surface around the equator. The Imperium would utilise both worlds as if they were one Womb-World.

CallumStephenDiggle

1) Every 28 hours. 2) Actually no, because whilst it is tidally locked to Philrya, the bi-planetary system rotates around a centre point between the two planets orbital path, you can see that on the bottom right hand side of the page 😁 3) they do indeed, they’re called Ocyrhoe and hippe.

Blas Borde

aah the hippie sea, no wonder the UN wanted to turn chiron into a vacation spot, (i misread it at first :P)

Gabu

Love the detail! You’ve added more since the CuriousArchive coverage:) Will we see out the battle at Chiron? I hope so, it’d be great to see guerrilla fighting in the blue forest, or some clever use of the walking-eating wave to chew up Imperium!

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks Gabu! I have, the story has really evolved since the release of that video, heck we’re all the way into volume 2 now! hmm I have no plans currently for that, but I’ll keep It in mind if ever an opportunity arises to show that off in a flashback or in some news coverage or something, because you made that sound really cool.

Viacheslav Zemlianski

I wish the MC spent a bit more time on Chiron figuring how to live his new life. Like trying to figure out human-eadible food and not geting into troubles from not knowing local cultures.

CallumStephenDiggle

I hear ya! That would have been really neat, I wish I could go back and spend a bit more time there with them, but the time has passed now. There will be more opportunities for things similar to this to happen later down the line.
