I skipped uploading the line-work for this one as this page is mostly a literary/exposition page, it wouldn’t have been much to look at without the colouring and the lettering. The process video will be coming tomorrow.Also, just as a little reminder. There’s currently a competition currently going on in the discord server if you’d like to partake. basically, few Patreons have requested that I host a competition for a bit of fun on the Discord server. The idea is that I give you a prompt and the best art/design wins. The prize is for your art to be shared on all of my social media pages and also if I really like it, for it to be featured somewhere in Humanity Lost Volume 2.

The prompt is: an imperium unit.

It can be any type of unit you want, whether that be a troop type or a vehicle, heck, even an Overfather. Just get creative with it and have fun!

Pity to those independence nation back on earth. as their fight once the AM is activated is already futile. well she did literally turn earth into something unrecognizable. Well knowing this, the wizard knew how futile the fight is. guess he have an amazing intellect to develop a small ship that can travel in such incredible speed to get to the conglomarate space.

This is awesome to see great job on the art in this page, I’m finding it funny to imagine while deicide and the wizard are talking fliegrigel is just floating around the stasis chamber slowly bouncing off the walls like the old dvd screen saver that would bounce from one corner of the tv to the other, I mean he has one arm so it’s not like he’s in a position to stop himself

It’s a bleak picture, the scenes from Earth in those end days would have been terrifying, as you can imagine. The ship traveled at relativistic speeds, the idea is that he was retrieved by some of the retreating conglomerate forces.

Thanks so much Shawn, I’m pleased to hear that you’re finding it engaging, you’re too kind! ☺️ Yeah for sure man, seeing the wizard enter the story again really feels like it’s tying things together narratively, it helps to build that roster of clearly recognisable characters for the viewer to latch onto also.

I’m glad you think so mate 😁 I’m trying to keep things interesting with this faster pace, it won’t be too long till we’re back to the present day, but there’s a few more big reveals that I want to drop before we get back to Losté, Skiv, Belfast, Uthipidus and Oughrigadd.

I bet he’ll be super sarcastic when deicide comes back to check on him, I’d imagine it’d go down like this. Deicide-“Hello brother how are you feeling?” Fliegrigel-“Oh brother I’ve been having such a wonderful time floating aimlessly in this prison from wall to wall after having my entire fleet destroyed my best soldiers killed and having my limbs severed, with my own prized trident no less so yes brother I’m feeling more alive than ever”. I don’t even think he’d be facing him since he can’t rotate himself to look so I like to imagine he’s slowly spinning aswell while he’s saying this

How long do you think the Wizard has been living, was he a member of the UE while developing BMI technology? I also wonder if the All-Mother was programmed to protect humanity as Belfast said, if that was the case I doubt total mind control would be permissable. With that in mind do you think the first generation of Imperium soldiers had only their bodies controlled by the All-Mother while their minds existed in some fantastical reality, basically were they like the Pyro from TF2?

The year was 2384 in the flashback in issue 5. The wizard was 139 in the year 2384. That would make his birthday the 11th of January 2245. 330 years after the All-Mother’s takeover is when he meets Deicide. This would make him roughly 470 years old in this current flashback in issue 7. In my mind it was total mind control, but I'm open to your idea! It makes it far more dark and terrifying 😬

When you show Fliegrigel again will there be a cut away of Oughrigadd reacting while Deicide is psychically telling/showing his backstory? I’m imagining a shot of him restrained in the chamber grimacing and flinching when Deicide tries to deprogram Fliegrigel

Do the all father have their own language or do they communicate almost entirely telepathically?

They usually always communicate telepathically/psionically, but the imperium also employs a type of language that is a derivative of U.E. Standard speak in emergency situations where psionic cannot be used. Deicides particular rebel offshoot from the Imperium within the galactic union uses a reconstructed English tongue that he revived with the help of the Wizard as part of his wider effort to resurrect humanity and preserve our memory as best he can.
