Deicides about to kill his papa

Erika Spooner

How many conglomerate forces died in this battle? It is an entire planet they have to take over and I have no doubt the gene throne is deep underground and well protected. Are there any backups to prevent forces from being taken over by enemies in the event of an Over-Father being killed and usurped?

PJ

Is it just me or is there nothing attached to this post?

CallumStephenDiggle

Sorry about that, the website version of Patreon was having issues, I got around the problem using the app 😁

Captain_Torres

Böreus is probably the Overfather that taught Deicide how to be adept with Psionic abilities

Gabu

Is the giant laser eye tower the defense of the gene throne? To Erika’s point how scary to fly in to that! I hope they sent some drone to draw fire How many 1000s of minerals and vespane gas to upgrade to that main base? 😂

Gabu

Right!! Can you imagine how flying at that certain-death beam tower would feel?

Davide

The battles are always spectacular, but i think this will be a tragedy. Deicide must kill his father for the good of the galaxy

Isaac Young

I wonder if deicide’s dad sees him as sort of like a rebellious son that he needs to discipline again. Could make for a funny conversation

Vovin

Ah, family reunions usually go like this

CallumStephenDiggle

A great deal many died, but if they hadn’t given their all for this push, they’d have been sitting ducks waiting for the imperium to attack. The gene-throne is the tower itself, it’s a place where Over-Fathers can be made, repaired if any damage occurs and it’s also where if one dies, their replacement can assume control over the deceased’s forces by overwriting the previous owner. In the unlikely event that the Gene-throne is destroyed, it doesn’t sever the Over-fathers connection to his drones. The structure can just be regrown. But the All-Mother plans for everything, so in case of rebellion, she made the Gene-throne a defensible position. Only a fellow Over-father could do anything dangerous by accessing a Gene-throne, it would be all but useless is the Galactic Union managed to seize control of it themselves.

CallumStephenDiggle

It is the actual structure of the Gene-throne, I commented under her question with more details if you want to talk a little look ☺️ it would be absolutely nerve racking! Can you imagine the moments before when they’ve just entered into the atmosphere and they’re flying silently over enemy territory, a literal hellscape of flesh. Then they suddenly emerge through the mist and the clouds to see the titanic Gene-throne wreaking havoc on their comrades. Hahah a fair bit 😂

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks as always Davide ☺️🙌🏻 of for sure, it’s an absolute tragedy! What a terrible thing to have to do.

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah that would definitely to some aspect of it, also disownment and disappointment that he gave rise to a traitor. I don’t know about funny though haha

Isaac Solar

Those poor conglomerate fools 😔. It's like the allied forces on normandy beach :]

Isaac Solar

Hehe, all-mother didn't anticipate an overfather turning against her all that much it seems

Justin Huynh

Boreus is pretty sinister looking, right down to the hooves.

CallumStephenDiggle

Hooves 😂 yeah, he’s a formidable opponent too, even for two Over-fathers.
