As promised, here it is!

I’m going to slow things down a little bit in the story and do a bit of character work. I read a review of Humanity Lost volume one the other day and the criticism was valid, He said that volume one was go go go all out action and not a whole lot of character development. Which is very true, it was intended to be a juggernaut of a bullet speed introduction to the world of Humanity Lost. I have done a bit of work to remedy this in issue 6, but I’m going to give the crew some time now in issue 8 to catch up and recover.

If you’ve just joined and you’re wandering what the heck is going on and where to start reading, here’s the post with all the collected issues in PDF format where you can catch up: https://www.patreon.com/posts/issue-8-ongoing-91659721?

Once you’re done reading, just carry on reading the pages on the post itself then you’ll be up to date on Humanity Lost. Bare in mind this book took literal years to produce, so take it slow haha!

Thanks so much as always for supporting what I do, I couldn’t do it without you.

odd to say but I really like the small detail of how Decide is holding on to the railing with his feet.

Haha I’m glad you appreciate such things, it’s stuff like that which takes some time to figure out.

I have to agree with the criticism. The pacing has been really quick. I didn't think we would really get Decide's back story until far later

Is Deicide influencing Loste's mind to keep him from going insane from the sheer horror of perhaps being the last natural person alive? And how do you think the people's of the galaxy will react to him? Also did Deicide go into hibernation?

you can also see Uthipidus’s zero-g grippers doing the same thing

I imagine there’s some degree of that, like a very light touch, yes. I’m going to be exploring a bit of how the peoples of the Orion arm view him later on. I think some will see his existence as an endling as a rallying cry, something to unite behind. I think some will have specist animosity towards him because of Humanities responsibility for the creation of the All-Mother and I also think some Yarkeen will think he has a very expensive looking skull.
