Why on Earth did I have to give Belfast’s kilt a pattern? 🤦🏻‍♂️ it looks neat but I’m going to have to draw that over and over again just right 😅

Did Deicide consider keeping Belfast's existence a secret, he probably would have been able to fool any lie detector test or even erase memories of Belfast from all crew except those he trusted? Do you think the riots also involve him recruiting another Over-Father?

I can’t remember if he had the pattern the entire time? Could be an explanation like Belfast was trying something new when he got bored and Asks sams opinion or something

That’s a great point. I think he considered it, but the crew let it slip. Yes, Oughrighadd is certainly causing quite the stir. You can imagine that a growing coalition of anti Deicide forces are forming within the G.U. that can’t be helping with keeping the war effort together. They must feel like they are being infiltrated by Over-Fathers and Human A.I!

They did indeed, a prime example is the Yarkeen. It’s a key part of their lore that the reason their multi star-system fell is because they grew over reliant on an AI for the running of the empire. There are ancient ruins showing that they had mastery over flux travel thanks to this AI, they even created the first and only flux gates (you can see the ruins of one in the map at the end of volume 1). This is ancient history and all of the detailed are lost to the mists of time, but they had a great interstellar war against their AI emperor and it lead to the fall of the Yarkeen empire thousands and thousands of years ago.
