Reminds me a little of Guyver. Great work.

Marcos

I am curious about how the helmet works. Is the purple part like transparent glass from the inside? I see those shoulder eyes move according to the actions he is performing. Is he getting like feedback from them or are those for the AI enhancement? As always, awesome work!

Davide

Thanks to you Stephen! The suit Is very Ginger-like

Logan

I'm really excited to see how Lost, Bellfast, and the over fathers work together now with this shiny new suit

Justin Huynh

I'm getting flashbacks to when he left his little apartment on the Moon

Doofus the All-Knowing

I know it's clearly not what's being abbreviated, but all I can think reading this strip is that Belfast has connected to his Body Mass Index. While staying on top of Loste's health is important, it's unexpected. Joking aside, I am continuing to love this comic!

Erika Spooner

What kinds of technology or adaptations are in that suit, suction devices in the hands and feet would be pretty useful in microgravity. And how is the suit and non-Imperium tech in general fed?

Ing. Timotej Bodzás

This awaken some WH40K power armor related memories. For them its like a second skin they feel everything around them and the armor is feeding them real time data from sensor arrays into their brain and helps them react to any changes. Specialy those shoulder eyes gives me the impression that now he has 360 view of everything around him... very nice upgrade in capabilities. Im realy into some exoskeleton like power armor action :D

tgm

I am very curious about feeding/fuelling Imperium bio-tech too.

Davide

Yeah really, in this armor there is something of aeldari, astartes and tyranids

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks Davide. Yeah, H.R. Giger is a huge inspiration, dude is a Titan.

The Purple parts of the helmet are like a one way mirror. From the inside, Losté can see out of it like glass, from the outside, it’s an opaque foggy purple. the eye movements are Belfast looking around via the suit. Thanks as always Marcos!

CallumStephenDiggle

Lol, thanks Doofus 😂 I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying it and I very much appreciate the support 🙏🏻

This is something that I’d like to reveal as the comic goes on, not only does it allow me to innovate and keep things fresh while I work, it also leads to a sense of discovery. In reply to TGM, different imperium units require different fuel types. Especially weapons and ships. Most simply require biomaterial to consume, however energy weapons and ships use a special type of extra-universal exotic matter. The exotic matter you would have already seen in those transparent green containers in their hand held weapons and in the core of their ships. Like Flux-drives, the imperium source their energy demands from a alternative plain of reality like the flux. There will be more on this later on.

Ah I didn’t know that about the space marines, I’ve listened to some lore videos on YouTube and played the Xbox 360 space marine game, but that’s as deep as I’ve gone so far. Sounds cool though! The eyes are actually for Belfast, I’ll make sure to explain that in the book. Heh, me too man.
