I'll start this week's dev status with a brief update on Altered Bloodlines. I'm still working on the art for Chapter 2's second lewd scene. It's looking good so far, and I have begun working on the scene's second animation. The final angle of the first animation finished rendering overnight, and I'm currently rendering the final animation of Unexpected Consequences 0.24.

On the subject of Unexpected Consequences, work on the art for Chapter 6's big climax has been going much better and faster than I anticipated. I'm currently working on the final section of the climax, but it is a big one. It includes sixteen characters in three different locations. Most of this section focuses on the location containing 12 of the characters, which is where I have started. Working with that many characters at once poses a challenge. For one, there's no way I could actually render an image with that many characters in it without it falling back to CPU rendering and taking forever, so I have to be creative with camera angles. and hiding characters that are out of frame. It also takes a lot of time to deal with posing that many characters. I've spent most of the day just posing the move of the characters from one position to another. All of that said, it's worth the effort, and I really like how everything is turning out. I also think it's safe to say at this point that 0.24 is ahead of schedule and will be released before the end of June.

Unexpected Consequences 0.25 will complete Chapter 6, and might include some of the epilogue as well. I've made what I believe are the final edits to my outline for the remainder of Chapter 6 and the Epilogue, and I'm hard at work writing the remaining script. It's hard to believe that this story is nearing its end. It's taken five years. Five years of learning, making mistakes, and plotting the best path forward. I didn't know where this story was going when I started, but I feel it's heading toward a satisfying conclusion, and I also can't wait to share what comes next.
