🗳️ Development Direction Poll *Closed*
- Continue Developing 'Not a Succubus' 83
- Finish 'Succubus Pandemic' First 130
Update: It looks like I'll be finishing up Succubus Pandemic first. It's a tough decision, I'm sure most of you are quite unsure as well, since less than half the current voting pool actually participated. I might end up restructuring Succubus Pandemic so that it doesn't take 6 months to finish, I'll do my best.
Not a Succubus marks my 4th game title, and after releasing the demo, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking (and pacing around the room 😅) about what should come next.
I’m genuinely torn between two paths:
On one hand, I’m having an amazing time working on Not a Succubus. It’s the first game I’ve built with multi-platform support in mind from the ground up, it benefits from everything I’ve learned so far, and it’s the cleanest and most technically solid project I’ve ever made. I really want to keep this momentum going and try to reach audiences I couldn’t before — maybe even give it a real shot at Steam (we've never been published on Steam before, and I really want this).
On the other hand, there’s Succubus Pandemic. I don’t abandon games, and I want to be a responsible dev who delivers what people paid for. The project is already most of the way there, with two chapters left (5 and 6), and if I leave it untouched for too long, I risk losing context and quality. I estimate it could take around 6 months to fully complete, depending on how things go.
So instead of deciding this alone, I want you to help me choose.
What should I focus on next?
Continue developing Not a Succubus
Pause it and finish Succubus Pandemic first
I’ll leave this poll up for a bit to make sure everyone has had time to play the Not a Succubus demo before voting. No matter the outcome, I truly appreciate your support and trust — that’s what allows me to keep making these games at all. 🖤🎃
