Hector P.O.V.

I am not an overly horny person.

I  discovered it only after I had the opportunity to get laid a lot. Only when you have the power in your hands do you know what kind of man you are.

The proof of this is that to this point, I have only been intimate with two people, and one of them is my wife.

Dolusea, the Twi’lek, is literally the third one that I got to something kinky, and it is only a blowjob. If she were not a hot alien, I would not have gone this far.

I am just enjoying my idle time till things happen. Realizing a dream of all the nerds of my original words… That is why now I am back, with Dolusea and a friend of hers sitting on my lap while feeding me.

“Girls, I am gonna get fat and poor at this rate.” I say jokingly. I stole… I mean, I recuperated a lot of credits, and I can't get fat if I don’t desire it to happen.

And seriously, I am not a hedonist, but I need to admit that it's pretty cool to have the soft bodies of women pressing against you. And Twi’lek’s body is cooler than a human so it is very pleasant to the touch. It is incredibly smooth, too.

“We can try making you poor… But with a body like this, I don’t think you can get fat.” Dolusea whispers in my ear as her hand moves through my abs.

The other Twi’lek, a blue one because I want variety, giggles and also runs a hand through my pecs.

“Hmm, look at those hard muscles~ I want to grind my body on them all night.” The other Twi’lek that I didn’t bother learn the name whispers in my other ear, lips brush against my earlobe before she kisses my neck.

“You girls know how to raise my ego.” I joke “You should make a career of it…”

The two giggle at my words. I made no attempt to even pretend that this is not a bought relationship. Maybe some fat, ugly, rich bastard wanted to act like they are gallant chads that can make beautiful women fall over heels for them, but my ego is not that fragile.

If they want to live on that fantasy, okay. They have the money for that; they can buy the experience and live it the way they want.

But being real with the situation gives me some perks. I would dare to say that I am relatively well-liked here. For real, instead of just pretending. Dolusea even started gossiping while pampering me. Talking normally, complaining about the other girls, things that they normally would not say…

And that is exactly what I wanted… Prostitutes have been great informants since ancient times, you know? There is also a reason why female spies learn seduction techniques.

A naked man has few secrets, and those women learn a lot of them during the pillow talk. It is also why I am careful with whom I lower my guard.

“Too bad my time here is short… I am gonna miss you all.” I make a show of sighing exaggeratedly, grabbing a handful of their backside.

“You are gonna miss us or what we do for you?” Dolusea smirks. She also will not pretend that I like her for her great personality.

“What is the difference?” I ask with a raised eyebrow and a smirk

“Own~ Are you leaving?” The other Twi’lek exaggeratedly pouts

“A man needs to fly before landing and allowing himself to grow roots…” I say “I want to see more of the galaxy.”

“An adventurer! How romantic~”

“Heh. Too bad romance is not enough… My last adventure was such a disaster, I even lost my ship. That is why I am here to relax and clear my head.” I lie

“Oh, so we are healing your poor heart?” Dolusea runs a finger through my chest

“Exactly, and you did an excellent job.” I smile while patting her ass. “So I am ready to move on.”

“Aw~, we should have done a poor job then.” Dolusea shows fake sadness

“Now, now… Where is your professionalism, dear?” I shake my head with a smile “I can’t stay here forever, but that doesn’t mean I can’t come back. Coruscant is the center of the Galaxy, after all.

“You promise?” She bats her eyelashes at me. Fun fact: Despite being 99.9% hairless, Twi’lek have eyelashes. Literally the only exception… And by the way, the fact that they are hairless in all other places is also one of the reasons why they are so popular.

“Yes, yes… You got me addicted.” I say while hugging the two alien hot babes tight. They squeal in happiness on my arms and hug me back while kissing where they can.

Now is the time to get where I want... The secret is breaching the subject casually.

“Ah, by the way… Does any of you guys know a transport ship that leaves the planet… discreetly?” I say with an intonation that shows what I mean.

“Well, well… Not gonna use the official hangars?” Dolusea immediately catches what I mean. Well, she catches on to what I want her to catch on to. “Are you a bad boy?” She teases, bopping my nose.

“Let’s say that I don’t have a good experience with the authorities.” I avoid the question “Just want a transport to another planet. Small and fast ship, small crew too… Reliable, and I will pay in cash. Half before and half after I arrive.”

“Hmm, where do you want to go?” The other Twi’lek asks

“Any other slightly advanced planet so that I can resume my work as a bounty hunter and rebuild my life.” I continue to lie

“Oh, you are a bounty hunter?”

“I never heard of you…”

I can see a small suspicion in their faces

“Do you know every single one of the galaxy?” I smirk confidently “And only a bad hunter would be famous.”

“Isn’t the opposite?” Dolusea asks, confused

“Nah… Being famous only means unnecessary work. It means that you made a big mess to get your target, it means that there will be people seeking you for revenge, and other bounty hunters will fuck with you… I am of a much more laid-back style. Have some high-level contacts, do some jobs in the shadows, no one knows that I exist, and sometimes no one even knows that my target was… You know, a target.” I keep my smirk

“That looks more like a hitman…” The other Twi’lek suddenly says, and I give her a cold sideglance.

Dolusea also glares at her, and she recoils a little.

Thank you, Twi’lek that I don’t know the name!! That is exactly the conclusion that I was hoping you two would reach. Despite my emotionless face, I am pretty happy on the inside.

Lies look more believable when the person reached it without my help. People really have a very high opinion of themselves, and they always think their deductions are brilliant and got stuck with them.

Now the two will not find it weird that they - and anyone they ask - never heard of me. I already sold my image of a “creature of the underworld” with his own circumstances, so they shouldn’t pry.

“So… any ideas? I am not picky.” I ask again, casually.

Dolusea and the other make a pensive expression “Well, there are some clandestine hangars in the Level 1325. That is where the best smugglers operate.”

“That is exactly what I am looking for.” I smile “Anyone in particular?”

She shakes her head “No… I can’t recommend anyone, but it's not hard to ask around and choose. There is a bar on Orange 13 street. You can find your guy there.”

“I see… thank you.” I hug them closer, their heads on my chest so they can’t see my face.

Yep… that will work. Level 1325. Orange 13 street.

This information is just an assurance in case Padmé backs down from our deal. She can still decide not to bring me to Naboo when she eventually needs to do everything as the Senate fails her.

It would be in her rights, and she would succeed anyway. I just want to insert myself there to watch the show and gain a ship.

If that doesn’t happen… Well… One of those smugglers will have a really bad day.

Pfft, what? Did you think I would just buy the ticket to leave Coruscant? Nuh-uh. Someone is losing their ship, and probably their life, too.

If it reaches this point, I will select the nastiest, most evil, and unreliable smuggler. Play the part of a naive rich guy, wait for him to betray me out there, in the emptiness of space… where no one will hear his screams…

Then I will have my ship! Happy ending! Yay~~

Life is so easy when you are powerful. I was not wrong in getting strong.

That will be my modus operandi.

Get strong, and then go to a setting where I am at the top of the food chain. Enjoy life.

Rinse and repeat.

………………………………………………

When someone visits a new place, they would obviously create a list - even if only in their minds - of places to visit. That doesn’t mean you are going to visit all of them, but it would at least give you a direction.

This list comes from a desire born from the difficulty of travelling.

When people visit Paris, they would go see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, etc… Going to Japan, you would try to see the cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, the temples, and Akihabara if you are an otaku.

Now, in my place, any Star Wars fan would obviously have their own list of places to visit, but I would bet both my arms that everyone would have the Jedi Temple there.

So this is where I am now.

Unfortunately, the Jedi temple is not a tourist attraction, so I can’t enter. The best I can do is float invisible and admire the structure. Well, I can’t complain… Qui-Gon invited me, but I smelled shit from that invitation, so I refused.

The temple is pretty cool, exactly as everyone saw in the movies, but much like when you see something yourself, I can feel the… grandeur. Everyone must have seen the pictures of the Sistine Chapel, but being there must be a completely new experience even after that.

It is the same thing… maybe much more prominent because this place really has something “special”. The flow of the Force because it sits on a nexus or whatever.

“But to the home of humble spatial buddhists this place is really impressive.” I comment sarcastically. Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to live in a mountain or any other isolated place?

Maybe this is to show the order is getting corrupted by the Galaxy in plain sight. Ironically, no one is noticing or doesn’t point out because it looks normal, close to all those grand buildings of the great Coruscant.

C’mon, guys… You should do a little introspection in all those meditation sessions, right? Is not hard to look around and see that you are in the biggest fucking building in the whole area and think “Wait, aren’t we acting a little hypocritically?”

Seriously, the Jedi Temple is literally on a platform - an altar - that makes it taller than everything else around it.

“Ironic.” I say in my Palpatine voice.

I will not even think about the rigid rules and the fact that they take toddlers from their families…

Can’t even say that I am surprised that they will eventually be wiped out.

The “Generals” Keepers of Peace had it coming.

“Hm, no one that I recognize…” I wanted to see at least one famous character, but it seems I am out of luck. There are only randoms coming and going…

And damn, there is a lot of Jedi. Such a big organization of space magic swordsmen still loses because they are caught lacking in doing exactly what they shouldn’t be doing… leading troops.

Eventually, watching a half-pyramid with some obelisks at the top gets boring fast. I took some pictures and decided to leave.

One day, I may spend some years inside this place, so I move away without hesitation.

“Now, maybe I should do a tour and visit places like the Senate, or even the prison.”

Third Person P.O.V.

Inside the Jedi Temple, in the Council Chamber, there is a heated discussion taking place.

“I already said that he is too old.” Jedi master Mace Windu says coldly while the majority of the other masters nod solemnly. “You are gonna force this issue.”

In the middle of the room stand only Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Earlier, they tested and refused Anakin, dismissing the boy, but Qui-Gon still had to give up in this matter.

“The council made its stance clear. I am here only so that my padawan can be granted the title of Jedi Knight.” Qui-Gon says without changing expression

“Training the boy, you still plan to.” Master Yoda says

“Maybe… the future of the boy is cloudy.” Qui-Gon throws back master Yoda’s words at him. “I am just certain that leaving him without proper instruction can’t be good.”

“...”

Some of the council can’t help but agree, but they are a very small minority.

“In any form, what I do outside the temple is my own business.”

“The actions of all Jedi are the business of the Council.” Jedi Master Even Piell says rasings his voice.

Qui-Gon remains stoic. “Then I will just leave the Jedi Order.”

His words create a buzz around the council. Mace Windu massages his temples while the other murmur around them.

Yoda and Qui-Gon keep their gazes on each other, the human Jedi with an unwavering gaze.

“To be hasty, you don’t need.” Yoda says

“I can’t force the Council to change their minds, but you also can’t stop me from leaving.” Qui-Gon says

“Is it really worth it?” Ki-Adi-Mundi asks.

“As I said, the future is uncertain, but I am willing to bet.” Qui-Gon replies

Mace Windu‘s face is hard. “Is this some sort of blackmail to force us to accept the kid?”

“No.” Qui-Gon replies calmly “I took the boy from his mother and promised him a Jedi education. I am gonna do it even without the support of the Order.”

“...”

Eventually, Windu sighs loudly and rubs his temple. “We can discuss this matter later. Right now, we have more pressing issues.”

“The Senate is voting on another Chancellor.” A Jedi says

“We also need to talk about your travelling companion, Master Jinn.” Shaak Ti speaks

“Curious about him, we all are.” Master Yaddle, a female of the same race as Yoda speaks

“Was quite intriguing, what you said about him.” Master Yoda continues

“Even hard to believe.” Even Pieel comments gruffly

“It is true. He is completely undetectable by the Force, like he exists outside it.” Qui-Gon explains “He was right there, during the landing, on the back, and I bet none of the Jedi masters that are present noticed him.”

“That is impossible.” Ki-Adi-Mundi says in disbelief

“I understand that it is hard to believe, but it is the truth.” Qui-Gon confirms

“Is he dangerous?” Shaak Ti asks

“As dangerous as any other person.” Qui-Gon replies “An eccentric, really, but not a bad person for what I saw.”

“Did you invite him as we asked?” Windu speaks

“I did, but…” Qui-Gon hesitates for only a second, “But he refused and said, and I quoted: ‘Why should I go see people that will only sit around me in their little power trip jerk circle to judge without trying to understand me? No, thank you.’ “

“...”

Qui-Gon tries to act apologetic, but in truth, he is enjoying using Hector’s words to release some frustration with the Council. Even Obi-Wan is trying hard to hold a snicker… and almost failing.

“Did he really say that?” Master Plo Koon says, his face is hard to hear, but Qui-Gon swears he can hear some twitching amusement hidden innhis voice

“I choose to let out the part he said about preferring to have a lightsaber shoved in a certain part of his body instead of taking the risk of being detained here just because of the way he was.” Qui-Gon replies, trying to act serious

“Very distrusting, he is.” Yoda comments

“Yes, he is overcautious. Hector seems to know about his condition and understands that some Jedi would have qualms with it, deciding to stay away.”

“So he knows… Did he make any comment on why he is like that?” Windu asks

Qui-Gon shakes his head “No. It seems he doesn’t care about it, and if we think for a little while, we can understand… With the exception of a force user, no one else in the galaxy would care. From their perspective, he is no different than the rest.”

The council nods

“But a unique case still needs to be studied… Have you tried to take a sample of his blood?” Plo-Kloon asks

“Overcautious…” Qui-Gon remembers them.

“Can’t be forced, this issue.” Yoda speaks “About him and the boy, we should meditate. A decision, then we should make.”

After Master Yoda said that, the encounter ended. Nothing is really decided, things are left open to keep the peace, but at the same time, no one is really happy.

That is the state of the actual Jedi Order.

Hector P.O.V.

“What are you doing?” Anakin approaches me after seeing me reading from a holo tablet while sitting on a reclined chair in Padmé’s living room.

“You must have noticed the schematics, huh?” I understand instantly why he, who doesn’t like me that much, decided to start a conversation.

Some time ago, I went to the public library of Coruscant - and props to the future - and I was able to acquire a lot of knowledge for free. We can shit in dystopian sci-fi worlds as much as we want, but there are a lot of good things around here.

And as a passerby that doesn’t need to deal with the shitty system and structure at the brink of a collapse, I am more than happy to visit this place.

I turn the tablet to him. “As you can see, I am studying. If everything goes well, Padmé is gonna give me a ship, and I will need to take care of it. I don’t trust the damn clankers that much.” Yep, you heard me, hard R and everything.

“She is a queen…” He comments. The reveal that she is not just a random girl must have left a bigger impression than I thought on his little head.

“But still Padmé. It changed nothing.” I shrug

“... I guess you're right.” He finally concedes, relaxing a little.

“I am glad I helped you overcome your little struggle with her identity.” I said before going back to study.

Thanks to my knowledge in mechanics and engineering, I am not flying blind on those studies, but even so, it is not something I can learn that easily. I will need to practice instead of just reading.

Yeah… I will need to get a clanker. Later, I will search for a shop. I think I saw one that sells used droids in the Underworld of Coruscant.

“How did you learn, by the way?” I asked him while my eyes were still on the schematics, “You are a pretty good…”

“I just did… It is fun.” He answers like it's obvious.

“..,” I give the little bastard a side glance. “Geez, sorry for breathing the same air as you.” I say sarcastically. “Not all of us have this talent and can just learn slowly and through normal means.”

“Is that so? I don’t think I am that good…”

“It is just because you are in a shitty environment that doesn’t appreciate your talents. It will be a good move not to let it atrophy even if you become a Jedi.” I comment

When I said that, he looked down sadly.

“...what?”

“I don’t know if I will become a Jedi…” He says with the sadness of a child who was denied his dream vacation.

So it already happened… Fucking old cogs, discussing the child’s future in that power trip room, probing him with their weird powers…

“So the Jedi Council said no? Pfft, so what? Qui-Gon said that he will make you a Jedi, so he will make you a Jedi…” I scoff. When he looks up to stare at my face, I continue “They are the Jedi Council, not the Force itself… They can’t decide who becomes a Jedi. They don’t like you? Fine. Stay with the people who like you. Qui-Gon is probably gonna train you even outside the order. And in my humble opinion, it would be a much better option.”

“Why?”

“Think about it for an instant. If you train here, you are gonna be staying on Coruscant till you become a Padawan. That takes years. Without being constricted by the Order’s rules, you will be able to travel the Galaxy with Qui-Gon. I think that is how it was done in the past, before things got organized.” He has the dream of travelling the Galaxy, after all.

“Really?” His face brightens up with the prospect that I am painting.

It makes sense. He just experienced a very cold unwelcome by the council, a very different attitude when compared with Qui-Gon, so if given the choice, he would obviously prefer to stay with Qui-Gon.

I would prefer the same too.

“So… If I want a droid mechanic or pilot, what models do you suggest?” I ask to change the topic. I have no problem in asking a young kid for advice, he is much more knowledgeable than me at this, after all.

A real master is an eternal apprentice, right? The one thing that I know is that I know nothing…

“That depends… Do you want a droid to do the repairs on its own and be equipped with the necessary tools? Or just the knowledge? And do you want a droid to pilot or assist in the navigation? If the starship is small, an astromech is the most common choice. But humanoid droids can do all of those things, but they tend to be expensive… Worthy of the investment, though. They are very all-rounded, and you can upload the guidelines you want and modify their limbs too-”

“...”

He started rambling… What a nerd… Pfft.

…………………………………………

“...I think I am gonna take you with me to the shop so that no one scams me. There are simply too many things to pay attention to before buying.” I comment with a sigh.

That is more complicated than buying a gaming PC.

While I was talking with Anakin, the doors of the apartment suddenly opened with a tss, and heavy footsteps could be heard. Not the kind of heavy step that a man wearing armor would produce, no… The kind of heavy sound of someone angrily stomping the ground.

“I can’t believe this!” I hear Padmé's voice confirming my deduction about her footsteps, “They are gonna wait to reacha  decision?!”

“I’m trying my best… But because I am just a recently appointed Chancellor, my sway with the Senate is not as strong as I wished.” A soft voice said with dejection.

The hairs of the back of my neck stood up hearing this voice, but I kept myself completely still and with a poker face.

Not only did Padmé enter, accompanied by Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Jar Jar, her Chief of Security and Sabé… but fucking Darth Sidious is walking side by side with the girl.

I avoid meeting the guy, but now that I am so close, I can say… he is pretty normal.

And that is the fucking scary part. One of the strongest people in the galaxy is really giving off a normal-uncle vibe. This is more terrifying than a guy giving a dangerous impression.

“I can’t wait! Naboo can’t wait.” Padmé retorts strongly

Palpatine just receives her scold humbly, lowering his head a fraction, making Padmé feel guilty for her outburst. I would feel bad too, if I didn’t know that he is practically Satan of this universe.

After a heavy sigh and a long look at the sky through the window, Padmé's eyes harden, and she speaks

“I am going back to Naboo.”

Everyone looks surprised at her decision, but the first to oppose it is Palpatine

“Queen Amidala, I can’t advise you to do that.” He says with worry “Wait a little more, as much as your hands are tied, I assure you that the Trade Federation can’t do much either. They are under the scrutiny of the Senate.”

Hm, I don’t remember this dialogue exactly… Reality is different from a screenplay.

“I will not let my people suffer while I stay here comfortably.” Padmé replies with determination

“You can help more from here…” Palpatine tries to argue

“There is no need for me if you are already here.” She says “I did my part, and you have the highest rank now, Chancellor. It is time for me to get back to my people.”

“...”

Badass…

And look at Palpatine, acting like he is just reluctantly agreeing with Padmé. Master manipulator here… Should I attack, or at least expose him? Well, if I’m not wrong, Plagueis is still alive at this point, so it would not change much. There would still be a Sith Lord hidden from the public.

Not my problem, and deep down, I believe the Galaxy needs to be shaken a little to get better from the state it's in.

“... the preparations.” I zoned out, so I only caught the ending of Padmé giving orders to her people. It seems her mind is set on going back.

Qui-Gon Jinn steps forward and speaks solemnly “I am sorry, but if you go back, we would not be able to help you, Queen Amidala.” He sighs “Our mission was to escort you, any more than this and we would be involving ourselves in a political struggle, and that is against the Jedi’s rules.” From his face, is obvious that he is not that happy with that, seemingly invested in the poor queen's plight.

“No, I should be the one thanking you, Master Jedi. You did more than enough.” Padmé says “Now it is my turn to do something.”

Cool and all, but wait a minute… Why is he not helping? I mean, it makes sense that the Jedi can’t pick a side unless some atrocity is committed, but what happens in canon again that made him go to Naboo?

Will he end up disobeying the Council? Is it because of Anakin?

I zone out again while frowning hard to think about it… What changed? Let’s review everything… Tatooine was pretty normal even with me there… I was careful exactly for this reason…

Nothing really happened… nothing interesting… it was boring as… Aaah!

Motherfucker!

Maul didn’t attack!

That is why Qui-Gon Jinn will not get permission from the Council to stay with Padmé! Because there are no signs of a Sith wanting to kill her!

Whattaheck, why didn’t that red bastard attack? I mean… it kinda made sense to not do that dumb direct attack in Tatooine. Now he just needs to wait in Naboo and kill a defenseless Padmé, who came back because of her strong sense of justice.

Damn… The villains are smart in reality.

Or it could be… because of me? Did my existence stop Maul from finding us in some way? Some butterfly effect of something I did? It is possible too… But I don’t think I am that important.

Ah man~ That means…

“Hector, make your preparations too. Time to earn your reward.” Padmé says in a very queenly manner.

“Yes, Ma’am.” I salute her playfully with two fingers, but inside, I am sighing.

This will not be the easy job that I initially predicted…

I will have to fight Darth Maul…

Well, at least it will be pretty cool. I am gonna listen to “Duel of the Fates” on the way back to get in the mood.

You said you'd like to use the characters from anime or books that are rarely seen why don't you use the mc from the anime cautious hero. He is like the mc of your story Hector cautious. Paranoid as hell and overpowered. And did I mention very, very paranoid and overprepared? My second pick is mark Grayson from invincible Hector needs some of them smart atom cells
