……………………………..
Joshua is walking back to the orphanage after his fight in the junkyard.
“Would you be okay inside [Mr. President]?” He asks the dog, but he is more like talking to himself, thinking about the possibility.
Danny normally sleeps in an abandoned place nearby where Joshua put some old clothes(that he took from the trash) as a bed.
“You would shit and piss on the perfectly fine room... Ugh.” It’s a hard decision. “Let’s try and see if you get used to it...” He pats the dog's head.
He won’t use it himself for now. Living in the orphanage still has some advantages. ‘When I buy a very strong humanoid stand, I will leave… Something that carries me. Jojo MC level.’
He likes thinking about the future... It’s a good way to escape from this bleak present.
“Hey, girl. Psst. Girl! The girl with the dog.! He hears a voice calling someone.
He ignores it at first, but when the dog is mentioned, he remembers that he looks like a girl and understands that it is calling him.
“!” He turns to the source on guard, his hand raised and ready to shoot a nail.
“Damn girl, no need to be so jumpy...” The one whoe is talking is a skinny guy in a wizard robe(?) in front of a small table on the sidewalk
“I’m a boy!” He says, annoyed.
Why does he have to look like a Jojo character from the later parts? He wants to be a buffy macho man, not a femboy.
“A boy? Okay then... I do not judge...” The suspicious man shrugs “Come here, boy.” He calls
“...” Obviously, Joshua will not come close
“Cautious... that’s a good quality to have in those streets. Are you a street rat, boy?”
“...”
“Yes, yes... Cautious, I knew it. I knew that you were different from the other kids. You’re destined for great things. Do you want to know why?” The man says animatedly
“...” Joshua starts walking backwards to move away from this weirdo.
“Wait! Wait! I’m a fortune Teller, boy! That’s why I know that you’re different from the other street rats around here... I read your future.”
“...” Joshua makes an ugly face, as if he is not buying this bullshit.
“I’m telling the truth.” The man notices his face. “Is that blood in your shirt? I read that... In the past, the indigenous people read the clouds, tea leaves, and other uncontrollable forms to predict the future. This blood that spilled randomly is a clue to your future.”
“...” Now Joshua narrows his eyes...
This is strangely familiar to a scene from Part 5.
“Now you’re interested, huh? I knew it... You have an open mind...” The man starts talking animatedly, but Joshua interrupts him.
“You didn’t even know that I was a boy, you can’t see shit.”
“...”
“.......”
“...........”
“................”
“...Ahem I-I-I can’t see that... I c-can only see the future...Ahem the fact that you are a boy was decided in the past. Yes, that’s it.” The man sweatdrops while coughing on his hand.
“If you could read the future, you would be a millionaire by betting in the lottery.”
“...................................”
“...” Joshua starts moving away again.
“W-Wait, boy! I was just bored! Let me read your hand! Free of charge... I think it's destiny that we met here!” The man calls him back, talking more normally instead of putting on a mysterious act.
Joshua is a little conflicted... This looks like something straight from Jojo, but he is not on Jojo.
But is that a good or bad thing? At the same time, this can be pointless; it also means that it is not that dangerous. It’s not like a stand user will appear out of nowhere.
“...if you want to read my future... Just read the blood... By the way, it is not my blood.” Joshua shows his shirt. Maybe this guy has a quirk that can see the future, but not that clearly… it would be nothing new
“It doesn’t matter that it is not your blood, it was spilled on you...” The Fortune Teller says “But it’s okay... I can tell you what I’m seeing.” He makes a show of staring at the blood with eyes full of concentration, “Hmm, I see... You’re really special... Unique... Born under a very special star... Lucky and um unlucky at the same time...”
“...”
“You’re very mature for your age... You’re destined to great things, indeed.”
“You’re just stroking my ego... Typical tactic to get people to talk with you. Normally, people just want to feel good and seek validation on those bullshits.” Joshua accuses
“Hmpf, you’re also a smartass brat.”
“...”
“There’s great danger approaching you in the near future... This is all I can say about that blood. It will change you forever!” The Fortune Teller says, and he crosses his arms
“And you finish with something that would arouse everyone's curiosity... I know your tactics, charlatan.” Joshua gives him a smug smile
“How dare you call me a charlatan?!” The Fortune Teller is now angered “I never failed!”
“Then why are you here on the sidewalk? It’s your quirk that allows you to see the future? What makes you so confident?”
“Tsk. Quirkks, quirks... This is all people nowadays care about...” The Fortune Teller grumbles “How many arts that humanity practised will be lost because of the shortsightedness of you all? Go, boy, go. I lost interest in you.” He looks extremely annoyed
“Now I refuse.” Joshua says like a brat, approaching now.
“What?!” The fortune Teller shouts in anger
“I like refusing people and doing the exact opposite of what they want me to do!” Joshua nods to himself, striking a pose
“~~~~~” The Fortune Teller is red with anger at this point, clutching his chest “My blood pressure... Deep breaths, deep breaths...”
“Try counting prime numbers.” Joshua suggests.
“...”
“Go on, dude. Read my hand.” Joshua approaches and extends his hand. At this point, after this guy being angered at this point and doing nothing, Joshua can guess that he is harmless. “But I don’t have money...”
“...” The Fortune Teller is completely done with this brat at this point. “You know what? Fine, come here. At least, to make this whole thing not be a waste of time...” He sighs resignedly
“If you do anything to me, Danny will bite your balls.” Joshua gestures to the dog going beneath the small table.
“...you’re a detestable brat, you know?”
“I don’t need anyone to like me.” He only needed to farm Bizarre Points, and he had a nice Harvest thanks to this guy's reactions.
Even bad feelings give points.
“I can see that... You’re the type that speaks your mind, not caring about who you can hurt. You have a big mouth.” The Fortune Teller looks at Joshua's hand “Hm, yes... I was not wrong. As must as it vexes me to say now, you’re destined to great things... But you will be tested a lot during your growth period. Each tribulation that you face will make you strong. Hehehe~ You will suffer, brat. Be ready.”
“...”
“Oh, you’re gonna marry someone wealthier than you...” The Fortune Teller suddenly says while tracing a long finger on Joshua’s hand
“...I’m a peniless orphan. Everyone in the world is richer than me.” Joshua deadpans. “Unless this wealth is metaphorical in some way.”
“She will have big boobs too...”
At this point, Joshua starts leaving again “You’re just saying things that people would like to hear... I’m 5, by the way. Don’t try tempting me with big boobs!” Removing his hand, Joshua starts walking away.
“And what do you know about temptation, precocious boy?” The Fortune Teller huffs.
Joshua continues walking without looking back, but the Fortune Teller’s serious voice reaches his ears
“Your life will be hard and dangerous.”
“I know that...” Joshua answers without looking back
“Your destiny... Your destiny is on the other side of the world.”
This makes Joshua pause... Every country has that joke “If you dig too deep, you will end up in (name of the country directly on the other side)”...
And in Brazil’s case, the country on the opposite side is… Japan.
Joshua slowly turns to look at the Fortune Teller…
The man continues “You will reach your peak there... It’s also the place of your last challenge before your life turns 180º to good. If you conquer this last challenge, you will achieve happiness... But if you fail, you will die.” He says gravely “Are you gonna take this bet? Are you ready to risk your life?”
“...” Joshua stares at the man for a good minute. “Nothing changed then.” And he turns around and starts walking away again, Danny following him. “Every day is a bet, and the stakes are my life.” He never knew if he is gonna live to see the next.
.........................................................
A year has passed since Joshua remembered his past life. He is 6 years old now.
During this time, Joshua accumulated a total of 4 thousand bizarre points. It seems that he can only gain a +1 for every person's reaction. That made the process slow because of his small reach.
He needs a bigger audience than the individual interactions he has with the people around him.
With this new amount, he bought 2 new stands... It looks like good progress, but then he remembers that the really good stuff it’s a least 10 times more expensive than what he accumulated during this whole year.
The Overpowered stuff is a hundred times more expensive.
And the really broken stuff... He doesn’t even want to remember it so that he doesn’t fall into depression.
But there’s a silver lining, an olive branch is extended to him, but he has conflicting emotions about that...
“Damn it, damn it... Shouldn’t you told me earlier? Fuck you!”
[It’s your birthday! Congratulations!]
[You gained a Random Stand... 3... 2... 1... Ding Manhattan Transfer]
[You gained 1000 Bizarre Points]
It’s good news that he can gain gifts every year... But the Random stand...
“If I knew about it, I would have tried to buy all the stands that cost only hundreds of bizarre Points and similar, then something good would have come of it!” He rages
[Manhattan Transfer] is a very specific stand that only cost a 100 bizarre Points. It’s an absolute miss!
Joshua's initial plan was to buy only some of the essential cheap stand then save it to something like a Protagonist’s stand. He lost this year’s opportunity!
And if he counts that he only has 9 more birthdays till he goes to High School... He gets even angrier.
“Okay... Okay...” He takes deep breaths and starts counting prime numbers. “Let’s put aside the tryhard gamer mentality.... I can’t lose what I never had... Ugh...” He is about to cry
He opens his simple Status.

The two stands that he bought with his accumulated wealth are [Moody Blues], the most cost-effective Humanoid Stand. And [Achhung Baby] to give him an escape Route if things go south... These streets are too dangerous, and he is too young and weak.
He basically has an invisibility quirk that is even better than the Invisible Girl from the main cast. That is huge!
Now that he has multiple stands, he can understand the mechanics of his system a little more clearly.
He can’t use all of them simultaneously; he guesses it depends on his “spiritual energy” or mental capacity... Or something like that.
It’s not a fixed mechanic though... When he uses [Moody Blues], he can’t use any other stand.
But he can use weak stands like [Mr. President] and [Achthung Baby] simultaneously.
He can partially use [Achthung Baby] and [Tusk] too... But only the spininning nails parts. When he shoots the nails, he flickers out of his invisibility.
“If I get stronger, I will probably be capable of using at least two humanoid strong stands... This is OP... Imagine stopping time and using one of those ‘hit-kill stands... Like [Sticky Fingers]! Insta-win!” He murmurs to himself.
Joshua leaves the bathroom where he was having his rage moment and walks back to bed.
“At least I discovered that I was born at the beginning of the evening.” With the time of the notification, he can guess this much: “I hope every year I receive a Random stand.” He will really rage if this were a one-time thing, like a gift for surviving one year, or a tutorial completion reward, and he blew his chance of gaining something expensive.
He closes his eyes and sighs.
The situation was starting to become hopeless... Just one year and 4 thousand points…At this rate, he would not have a Protagonist-level Stand till his time to go to Hero School.
“I think it's time I start doing something to gather a crowd... I didn’t want to do that before because it was risky, but now I can turn Invisible...” He thinks “But what should I do? Singing? Dancing? Drawing? Magic tricks with my stand?”
He barely slept that night, making plans about the future.
....................................
“Do you think I should try juggling on traffic, Danny?” Joshua asks the caramel dog that grew up considerably in the last year, and it looks much healthier now.
Joshua, on his side, still looks like a dirt and skinny girl. Not for lack of trying to keep himself clean, it is just that he always gets dirt just for going outside, so he already given up on that front. And he doesn’t seem to gain weight; his body type is really destined to be a stick.
On the other hand, Joshua looks better in other aspects. There’s a certain light in his eyes, a confidence in his steps... It’s something he gained after fighting and winning against other kids. Something he gained after he progressed steadily through this last year.
When someone feels that they are on the right path, on the right track, they gained a certain boost of power. Joshua feels that he is on the right path; it’s slow, but it's right...
If he puts in more work, he can achieve his objectives earlier, and he is thinking about it right now.
Danny barks at him.
“I know... Juggling is too common.” Joshua answers “But I’m young, small and cute... people would be impressed by anything I do, right? I need to use this advantage before it disappears.”
Right now, they are scavenging in the junkyard. It’s a normal occurrence at this point. They come here every week to check the new things that arrive... Well, old things that arrive.
Danny barks at him again.
“Yeah, I will need to beat another bunch of kids to take their spots...” He nods “Haah If only stands were invisible, I would be able to cheat with some magic tricks.”
He thought about all kinds of things he could do to gather a crowd as a street performer. But he would need to start practising or cheating with his Stands.
“Apparently, schools start when you’re seven here... It’s different from my last life.” Joshua says to Danny while the two start going back to the orphanage “It will be a good thing? I can be the class clown and earn some points... But it can also take a lot of my time...”
.............................................
“Hehehehehe~” Joshua smiles like a gremlin as he follows a group of kids while invisible thanks to [Achtung Baby].
After he acquired his new power, he obviously needed to test it, and not only by activating and deactivating his invisibility. No, he needs to test how good it is against people by following them.
Maybe his brain is too childish, but it's a little fun to just walk three steps behind the people you are following, and they remain completely unaware of that.
He can even hear their conversation!
“That Lucas is annoying!”
“Let’s beat his group and get his things!”
“His sister Lucia is cute…”
“And Nicole likes him.”
“Just because his quirk doesn’t change his body that much…”
“His super speed quirk is cool…”
“I wish I had his quirk.”
“Let’s break his legs.”
Joshua can’t help but laugh in his mind. This talk is so dumb that he is almost impressed. Maybe he can listen and learn how to act like a child.
The talk only gets interesting when they start talking about where they keep their belongings.
Every child group is like a small gang. They fight the others, keep their things safe from others, while stealing from the rest… The orphanage and even the whole city are filled with those playful child gangs. They are basically gangsters in training.
Because of the lack of control by the adults and their quirks, those childish feuds can get pretty serious, but the kids are not dumb enough to overstep.
They would not try to commit big crimes, because then they would be treated like grown-up criminals… And there are stories about the lost kids who got the grown-up treatment before they grew up.
They never had the chance to grow up for real.
Obviously, there are several kids of humble origins that wants to pursue education, but the people around and the system crush most of them.
It is sad that only those too meek to walk down the path of crime are forced to walk the right path. It is such a reversal of morals that it is almost comical.
The kids with weak quirks and weak personalities are forced into the right path because the wrong path is more popular, and the competition is higher.
Even Joshua doesn’t escape this system. Even with a mature mind, he needs to admit that seeking proper education is not worth it and his chances are much better by betting on some path of using his quirk. He is still aiming big, the other kids will just try to be villains.
Obviously, there are kids who want to be heroes… but this is not the United States or Japan.
From early on, heroes are just seen as government workers, many times incompetent or corrupts so the kids simply don’t see a difference into walking the path of heroism or villainy.
So naturally the will gravitate to villainy.
Important to remember that this is the reality around Joshua. In this country, many kids with a proper family and good living conditions aspire by the path of a hero and other righteous jobs.
Too bad there is this cesspool breeding villains to counterbalance things.
‘Hm, maybe this is all by design.’ Joshua’s brain starts thinking conspiracy theories. ‘Maybe we are all just cattle villains, bred to be beaten by those rich kids heroes, to massage their egos and to keep their jobs… After all, heroes would not be needed if villains didn’t exist. That is why they don’t try to solve the problem at the source…’
But in a world of heroes, villains, and superpowers… maybe no conspiracy theory is too crazy.
‘I don’t doubt anything anymore.’ He thinks. He reincarnated in a fictional world with a system from another fictional world.
Who is he to say that something is impossible?
He doesn’t even dare to say that Santa is not real to the little kids in the orphanage.
“Woof!”
“Hm?” The kids suddenly look back after hearing a dog barking, but they don’t find anything, so they just shrug and continue on their own way.
As they move away, to the same place, behind a wall, Joshua is sitting on the ground while holding Danny’s muzzle with his hand
“You son of a bitch(literally). You almost gave my position.” Joshua says between gritted teeth
“Woof!” Danny says back after he frees himself
“How did you follow me? I left you distracted with food.” Joshua sighs while Danny licks his face. “Isit because of my smell?” He frowns
Joshua then starts thinking he should be careful while using [Achtung Baby]. Invisibility is overpowered… in a normal world.
It is not a Stand that perfectly erases his presence. Smell, heat, sound, air movement… Normally, he would not need to worry about such trivial things.
But this is a world where people have superpowers and super-senses.
It only needs him to get comfortable around a guy with thermal vision, and he will be caught.
“Thank you for reminding me, boy.” He pats Danny’s head, deciding not to use [Achtung Baby] lightly.
He doesn’t plan to hide. He has multiple abilities in the future - How would he be able tofarm points by showing off if he is hidden? - but he will obviously keep some trump cards close to his chest.
Stands that are better when no one knows about them, and villainous stands must be kept a secret.
“Let’s test the other one then…”
…………………………………………
It is not hard to find a deserted space to train his powers. Joshua just needs to walk a little away from the center of the city, and abandoned buildings will start appearing.
He doesn’t dare to go too far because of the chance of some criminal or crazy individual staying in one of them, so he needs to calculate the exact middle ground where it is far enough from civilization that no one sees him, but close enough that he is still under its protection.
“Here is good enough…” Joshua, on the second floor, what it looks like it was an office building. “Let’s go… Moody Blues!” He obviously needs to strike a pose
Bzzzzzz Tzzzzzzt Clack Tuu-ruuuu Tuuuuuuuuuu
A humanoid purple figure emerges from him, and Hector pauses
“...okay, that sound is kinda orgasmic. Again!”
Bzzzzzz Tzzzzzzt Clack Tuu-ruuuu Tuuuuuuuuuu
Bzzzzzz Tzzzzzzt Clack Tuu-ruuuu Tuuuuuuuuuu
Bzzzzzz Tzzzzzzt Clack Tuu-ruuuu Tuuuuuuuuuu
He calls for his only humanoid stand five more times before he is satisfied; the old school telephone noises are simply too cool. And he is summoning a Stand!!
Not a small Stand like [Tusk], but a honest to god Stand.
“Top 5 better sound effects between the Stands.” He nods happily. “The visual effect was cool too…”
He is almost divided now… On one hand, if one day he stops time with [The World], it is obvious that he would want it to happen in an instant… But he kinda wants the clock sound effects now.
After playing around, it is time for some tests. [Moody Blues] is his first humanoid Stand, which he got after saving a lot of points… but he is also the cheapest that looks like it can fight.
So his expectations are not that high. He understands that it is not a Stand made to throw punches like [Star Platinum]; it can do it, but it is not his main thing.
“My size, huh?” He says. Stands always accompany the physical state of the user, so [Moody Blues] is the size of a child now. “Punch that wall.”
After Joshua points, [Moody Blues] doesn’t hesitate in cokcing his small fist and punching the wall.
Thud
“...” Joshua watches it attentively, and then he looks at his own hand. He flexes his fingers for a moment. “I felt that… It was not like I punched the wall myself, but there is some feedback. Maybe it's because Stands are more resistant…”
Then he approached and noticed that there was only a small crack in the paint coating of the wall.
“This is concrete, so I am not surprised that it did not go through, but only this?” Joshua sighs “Maaaan… Well, it is stronger than me at least. So only by having [Moody Blues], my fighting strength was doubled… and other perks too.”
His disappointment doesn’t last long. He is always grateful for anything his little cheat can give him, even if he complains a little in the beginning.
“Let’s test its special ability.”
After he points once more, the digital timer in its forehead starts showing the date and time of the day. It regresses a little, and suddenly, another Joshua is standing in front of him.
“Wow, first time seeing me like this… Mirrors don’t do justice. It is 3D.” Joshua walks around his stand, “Fuck, I really look like a girl!”
He is undoubtedly depressed, the fear of being destined to be a twink is growing on his chest, and plans of acquiring protein and starting to pump iron appear in his mind.
“Hm, now I remember… People can see my Stands just fine.” He stares at his own body in front of him. Only the timer on the forehead is a signal that is not him. “Yeah… there are ways to turn this disadvantage around.” He smiles
“We need to do some preparations, [Moody Blues]. Hehehehehehehehe.” He smiles evilly. “Since I got the Joestar Bloodline, did my Battle IQ increase or what?”
