[ENG] EP 06: Alien Stage Episode 0 Production Process (Patreon)

Alien Stage Prologue, did you enjoy the first episode?

Alien Stage, which has been working hard for the past 5 months... The Alien Stage could revealed to the world because of the fans who waited for it.

In this post, we would like to cover the birth and development process of the Alien Stage Prologue (Episode 0)!

Birth of Alien Stage Prologue (Episode 0)

Surprisingly, there were no plans to produce the ALNST episode 0! We were going to make the first episode and then the second episode, but the 0th episode of ALNST was held to fill the down time due to the delay in the first episode's song production period.

Studio Lico produces all the songs for ALNST. Since the songs used in ALNST has to produce with the official release of the songs in the future, Studio Lico had to consider many things as well as composition. In the process, a lot of discussions and playlists of songs were born, and the song among the candidates for the first episode was <SWEET DREAM>! The song that QMENG had kept for later use came to be used faster than expected. Thus, the current episode 0 and <SWEET DREAM> were born!

1st Storyboard: Worldview > The personality of a character

EP 2-1: Alien Stage Has a Reorganization Period

🔻SWEET DREAM STORYBOARD 01🔻

<SWEET DREAM> STORYBOARD 01

This is the Alien Stage prologue storyboard (a.k.a episode 0), which was born at a time when it was considering 'the personality of a character' or 'a worldview' in Alien Stage 2-1. When this storyboard came out, the current team Vivinos had not all come together, and the overall concept of ALNST was not fully established. For this reason, we decided to include the contents that we couldn't show in episode 1. In the first episode, if Mizi and Sua are the main characters, the first episode of the 0th episode is designed to show the worldview of the Alien Stage from Sua's point of view.

2nd Storyboard: Worldview < The personality of a character

🔻SWEET DREAM STORYBOARD 02🔻

SWEET DREAM STORYBOARD 02

This is a storyboard produced after the personality of character vs. worldview debate was concluded within the team. It's the final storyboard of episode 0! The character and relationship stand out more than the first storyboard, and it has been modified to show the worldview in a compact way.
