News for Apple users in the US (Patreon)

Finally a new court ruling against Apple's monopoly position. In case you were thinking, why is everything on Patreon suddenly 30% more expensive? That's Apple wanting more money. There will be a few changes, they will happen automatically for you. But at least there are now better/cheaper options.

• Patreon's checkout option—which avoids Apple's 30% fee—is now the default checkout option for U.S. based fans making membership purchases in the iOS app.

• Your U.S. based fans now see the price you set without Apple's fee added in, just like they would on web or Android.

Happy weekend!
