"Rooks" Electronic Attack Squadron VAQ-137 conduct flight operations on USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 in the Pacific (7th Fleet).

The EA-18G is extremely advanced Electronic Warfare aircraft. It's capabilities are a closely guarded secret that few people even understand (I'm not one of them, btw) 🤷

Very nice, but how old are the F-18s. Is the plan to still replace them with the F-35 even though they aren’t being cost effective?

We were supported by USN EA squadrons during OIF. I’m not sure exactly what they did to counter IEDs, but I do know were used for that purpose. Also some of the USN EW officers were attached to us to provide expertise in EW.

Growlers are 2 seaters, right? If that is true, then the single seaters must be FA-18E's.
