HOUSE OF THE DRAGON [2x3] | EXTENDED REACTION

I didn’t read the books so IDK if Alicent has any other brothers but I believe that he is the one that Daemon challenged in the joust tournament in episode 1 when he was trying to piss Otto off.

Those were not Danys eggs. Hers have been out East for at least 50 years at this point. Sold & stolen repeatedly, changing hands over & over. Danys eggs are those of Dreamfyre....

Courtney Conover

That woman is Alice Rivers. It is said she is a witch.

Episode 4 is the Battle of Rook's Rest. It's big like Battle of the Bastards. Don't mistake the happy writing of later GoT seasons with HotD though lol

Ciara Armstrong

I feel like Larys Strong (Foot guy). has Littlefinger (from GOT) vibes, while the White Worm (I think it’s Mysaria) has Varys from GOT vibes…

MamaSeesa

Hodor's...appendage...was a prosthetic. I remember reading a BTS thing or seeing an interview that included that info. I can't imagine the legalities of paying someone to do that act without protection on set. Easier to make a prosthetic. Now the question is, was Aemond's a prosthetic or not?

I am loving HOTD, as much as i loved GOT. Battle of the Bastards is a gigantic event, so its not an easy task to make something as similar or bigger, so thats why i'm not creating any expectations, but i know Rook's Rest will deliver big things in its own way, we just need to be open minded.

Really disappointed y’all aren’t doing full length watch-alongs for these.

Daemon unseated Gwayne Hightower in the tourney in s1e1. We’ve never seen his face but he’s been mentioned for sure

Emily Rose

Rhaenyra the brave going into kings landing as public enemy #1

Chanty Doodles

We did know Allicent had a brother already, from S1 ep1 when Daemon jousted with him and tripped his horse to mess with Otto lol Daemon would never go against Rhaenyra, he loves her and would die for her. Even now it's proven he's no monster & is guilty over the death of the child & putting Rhaenyra in a bad position. Daemon is so loyal but show made it look like we can't trust him the way Rhaenyra did. When in reality Daemon can be trusted when it comes to his allegiance & heart ❤️ 🖤

“Burn the forest!” 😂😂😂😂 I was thinking the same thing. Except I would rather have Cole eaten alive by a dragon, a quick crisp seems like he would be getting off too easy.

Check out LM Reactions as well as The Octobers, both post full unedited reactions, both are up to date on GOT and HOTD as well as many other shows/movies

Baela should’ve burnt it df down but that would be offing Ser Criston way too fast. I need the satisfactions of the deaths in hotd that D&D failed to deliver in got

Mama Browsss

The witchy woman in Daemon's hallucination/dream reminded me of a younger version of the Red Priestess (not Melisandra) that talks to Varys in Meereen in GoT.

Alana Jane

"only you can start a forest fire" hahaha

Laura Thornley

I recognise where Daemon's vision was at the end, even though its not been shown before. Very distinctive, kudos to the effects team for getting the vibes just right. And yeah, no spoilers. I wish I hadn't been spoiled.

Also Alicent was smart enough to know that turning Rhaenyra in would be a big mistake - because she's aware that she's the one holding back the Blacks from kicking off with gloves off. Without Rhaenyra her council would immediately attack and Daemon would be out for fire and blood (as would all the other Black dragonriders). And sure, the Greens would have the advantage with the loss of a dragonrider - but it would be incredibly bloody. And despite her protests that she can do nothing she hopes it won't come to that.

Those kings guard seem not honorable cause aegon dumbass made his goofy friends he was getting drunk with in the throne room that one episode into the kings guard to replace the twins smh..and you guys miss the girl that got her ass slapped earlier in that bar scene was the girl Aegon raped and Alicent sent away so she is alive
