I think this movie managed to be just as crazy as the first! A totally different story but it hits. That music helps 😂 and the cast is 10 out of 10! Edit in next couple days, got some more extended watch stuff coming as well!

Ah yes, the opening that has tore down many a reaction comment section with ppl arguing over whether Dad was right or wrong lol.

Nemo-the-Red

I like this one, I think characters make some dumb decisions, but people do that pretty often.

Pat_Bez

I KINDA don't think he was wrong. What was he supposed to do? Other than just stay there and "die" with her. Especially having children- I would tell my wife to leave me and go (even if there's a 5% chance my kids were still alive)

Ash

I can see both sides tbh. Your knee jerk reaction is like dang really dude but yeah you can later say, well he was trying to get back to his kids...we assume. We don't know for sure if that was what he was thinking as opposed to just not wanting to die. The movie wants you conflicted, I feel.

Radwaves

It's great you posted both movies before 28 years later comes out. Just refreshed my mind for the second movie as i've only seen it twice before. They are both good movies, can't wait for the third one🤘

McKayla Rodriguez

With zombies at the end I'm pretty sure how they got to Pairs is the channel tunnel that connects England to France as you do see them go down into a tunnel just little bit before the ending.

Mel

Major anxiety watching this😂🤦🏾‍♂️

I honestly don’t fault the dad at the beginning bc 1) he was fighting the first few off which gave everyone time to run 2) he dropped his only weapon down stairs so like honestly what was he supposed to do? Punch 3 zombies in the head? Like girl you and that lil boy had time to run but he wanna be hiding in closets and stuff

Sean O'Neill

It’s hard to fault the dad at the start. She wouldn’t listen and ran for the kid and because of that they essentially got separated with infected between them. He had no weapons, so what was he gonna do? Punch them? The way it’s shot frames him as a villain but in reality if he didn’t slam that door, he dies. She only lived because she was immune. As far as screwing the rest of the world, it may only be Europe/Russia, Asia and Africa. North and South America and Australia are separated by a huge ocean which the infection can’t cross because of how quickly it affects people. Unless, of course, more immune people who have been bitten get on a plane or boat at some point. I don’t see them allowing any boats or planes in from anywhere that was infected and if the US is still functional and not infected, the military would blow up anything even remotely trying to get to North and probably South America. The logistics is an issue though, without trade from anywhere except Canada, Mexico and South America/Australia. That’s getting a little too in the weeds though lol

Sean O'Neill

That’s how I took it. I didn’t look at it as the kid was the reason for the spread. How would he? Is the kid running around kissing people and spitting/bleeding on them? lol

Sean O'Neill

I can definitely see why people would say he was wrong, 100%. It was shot to make him look horrible. In reality though, he shouted for his wife to stop and follow him multiple times, but she couldn’t let that little kid she met 5 minutes ago, go. She ignored her husband and by the time she found the kid, now there’s infected between him and them and he has no weapons. If he didn’t slam the door, he dies. She only lived because she was immune. Notice that kid wasn’t with her at her house, so he died, same fate the father would have had.

Sean O'Neill

The movie definitely frames it as him being terrible, with her slamming against the window and begging him not to go. The problem is that he begged her to stay with him but she couldn’t let that kid go, even though she just met him 5 minutes ago. By the time she found him, now infected is between the father and the mother/kid. He has no weapons, he’s not immune, so what could he possibly do other than just die right there which would have happened if he didn’t slam the door. The kid isn’t with her at the house, so he didn’t live…. The only bad thing I feel he did was lie about it. He should have been honest with the kids about what happened and how hopeless it was with infected between him and her and without any means of fighting a group of them

Mel

Lowkey i get it, the survivor instinct took over and he ran. At the same time its kinda her fault bc she wanted the kid in and kept trying to find him. He said lets go and she ran to the child like bet im outta here😂🤦🏾‍♂️

Mauro

Love the opening scene the debate on whether it’s the dads fault or not its fascinating hearing people thoughts. Can’t wait for 28years later

Jinyatta

Saw this the night before bootcamp graduation with a bunch of guys from my division. Not as good as the first, but still a good time.

Rey

Crazy how stacked this cast was

Blue

Code red should've just been they hand out a load of mountain dew code red 🤣🤣

chaos_witch

They show the heli crashed and mention the mom is a carrier. No one including the kids and the pilot knew he could be a carrier so 1) he could’ve infected the pilot/ his sister on their way to France, 2) infected someone after they landed. Although the channel tunnel theory is also pretty good
