While this season IS shorter, it for sure hits hard in almost every episode. Things only get better from here <3 Excited to see the next few episodes for sure!

It's hard to remember but about the walls. That long scroll of text you read towards the end of the last episode of Season 1, how the guy wanted to dig through the wall... and one day he disappeared. With finding the Titan in the wall.. we kind of know now why he may have disappeared.. to keep things very hush hush that something weird may be going on with the walls

also adds to why he couldn't find an end seemingly. Presuming we got big ol' titans in these walls, we don't know for a 100% how far down they're rooted to the ground. We don't know where the walls start, but we definitely know where they end!

mmhmm. I'm trying not to say too much obviously about their origin, but yeah. As to why he disappeared... hiding this all is clearly of utmost importance to some people in the wall :(

You should have watched 'attack on titan in 9 minutes' on youtube. It's a hilarious supercut comedic refresh of season 1 that someone threw together while awaiting the release of season two so it's spoiler free and hilarious. also a little recap.

Another point for the Dub over the Sub, Sasha's dad doesn't have to be caricatured into a "I SAID WHHUUUUUUT IN TARNATION" just to add a subtle twang into his voice lol, and you notice the southern accent when Sasha lets it slip, and when she's trying to talk different you can actually tell. lol

You may argue that it doesn’t translate well in the subtitles, and I respect that you prefer dubs over subs, but objectively, the voice acting is better in Japanese than in English. Saying otherwise is absurd.

If you don't speak them both fluently to say one is better is asurd. You can't hear the emotion the same way when you don't understand a word and you understand every word and compare them fairly and that's a huge aspect everyone leaves out. The translations, the sound design of MANY things, titans, and people. voice actor picking, and to say one is levels above the other in emotion in voice acting is not only absurd but downright disrespectful to the english VAs. People are EXTREMELY bias and the more I watch the more I realize the Sub is WAY overhyped and the Dub is just flat out better in almost every way.

Now I will concede that shrieking your lines in a monotone scream at the top of your lungs is technically "more emotive" but more emotion doesn't mean "better acting". Louder doesn't mean more or better convaying of emotion. If you don't speak fluent Japanese the ONLY thing you hear is emotion, because you don't hear any individual words. To compare them is silly. But if you truly compare the voice acting and emotion and quality of the sound design and VA's perfomance it's much closer than any of ya'll Sub heads give it credit for. More emotion doesn't make it better voice acting.

Because of dubs you talk too much, you didn't even notice in ep 3 before the opening, Connie said, that that titan in his house sounded like his mom. Subs would immerse and concentrate you more on the show, not to tell about original japanese dubs making the ride xx more times better. English dub in anime only makes you take it less seriously, like a cartoon rather than a movie. And it sounds so amateur xD
