AND FOR THE FINALE... it kinda just fizzled. I mean, big setup and tease for Peacemaker... but as a whole season, it definitely felt like it never built and concluded in a well rounded way. I feel like we just gotta tune in next week to see what happens! But there isnt one 😭 So i'm conflicted a bit. But still a great episode in itself! Emotion bits, love seeing the gang setting up shop and all. What did you think?! Next year will be big for DCU! Lanterns and Supergirl will be a nice change of pace I hope, and keep building the universe!

Its weird because I thought the episode on its own was very good and great performances from Cena, Danielle Brooks and others but it feels like there were small moments that were missing that leave me conflicted as far as the QUC, Rick Flag & MOT is concerned Overall I loved how character driven this season was and what comes next since apparently there won’t be a S3 as of right now

I feel like it was a good I could even say great episode but it didn't feel like a finale it felt like a set up to the finale

ShadowStunts

I might be part of the minority but I felt like this was not only the perfect finale but a far superior season to the first one. We actually spent time focusing on the characters and the whole season was about the whole groups character development. I think people have become too used to mcu projects where every project is just a setup to the next one. They all feel empty and pointless like the creators don't care about the characters and only want to get people to go watch the next thing. Peacemaker is the opposite where they really couldn't care less if you're interested in the future of the dcu or not but instead focus on what makes the show itself good. This could've ended with some boring stupid fight with Keith and ruined the entire arc of the season but instead we got one of the most emotional and beautifully written episodes in superhero show history.

Yea there’s a comic story arc called Salvation Run, where Amanda Waller with permission from the US government sent all the majority bad guys( like the rogues, gorilla Grodd, cheetah, Bane Deathstroke, Joker and Lex Luthor) to a habitable planet as a prison, so there wouldn’t be no more major threats to the earth. The story is really good like Lord Of The Flies with a DC comic evil twist

I really like the ending even though he didn't wear the suit, it was so emotionally well rounded

If there really is no intentions on making a season 3 then im a bit disappointed. Wrapping up Peacemakers story in the next Superman movie just feels lazy.

Huge fan, but y’all really gotta stop fucking my heart in the ass lol

DC first introduced the Checkmate team in 1988. Here's to hoping their comic book series gets revived.

Thats my hope honestly it would just suck to get his story wrapped up in what would likely be 5-10 minutes of screen time in a Superman movie
