Adam Block

next season sh*t really goes down. Can't wait to see what you both think! "Bridget I think everything's changing" Oh... you have no idea The "bald dude" is the one who almost ate Armin, and did eat Eren in like episode 5 or so, causing Eren to transform for the first time into his Titan :)

Heidi

Fun fact: The AOT map is just our world upside down. Paradis would be Madagascar and Marley is Africa.

Reginald

OK THAT YMIR IS NOT THE YMIR IN THE BOOK. Remember Ymir that we know was some rando orphan. They gave her that name

Adam Block

It's okay if you both were overwhelmed by the amount of information presented. I think they do it this way on purpose, as our heroes in the present are certainly overwhelmed by what they found. I always recommend that everyone who watches this show for the first time watch the episode "That Day" at least twice to really get what is being told. OH! The island that our protagonists are on is pronounced "Pair-a-dee" pretty much. Although it for sure looks like "paradise" on purpose

Reginald

That part where grice asked grisha about understanding the book was very important I just want you to know

Reginald

Not oil actually, what they want is the is called something else but, only known to grow on paradis. And it’s same fuel the eldians on paradis use for their odm gear.

Reginald

You guys hate zeke too easy.

Reginald

Responding to the whole - “Marley is bad” I’ll say it again, that part where grice asked grisha “how do you know this is the true history” THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Adam Block

I mean. You're supposed to hate him or dislike him at the very least. Given what we know about him

Matt

But who's to say it's upside down? There is no directions in space. Maybe our maps are upside down.

BRIDGECO

I was pure emotion in the react 😂 I definitely understand after stepping back it’s definitely not so black and white. It’s gonna come down to present day, who is willing to talk it out and come to peaceful agreements right?!?! 😭

Reginald

Exactly. That’s the moral of this show. No one is really a god or a devil, good or bad. We’re all just “people”. You remember the speech admin gave Annie in season one when he was trying to convince her to help them secretly move eren. Admin talked about what is really good or bad.

Sabir

Everyone has their version of what’s right. Their “propaganda” that they push on to other people. Where lies the truth?

Sabir

I watch in sub. But sometimes I watch your reactions in dub when I am busy doing something so thanks for that!

Mikeyy

Peak peak and more peak

Mama Browsss

I very much appreciate the dub! I've watched both and dub is just more enjoyable for me cause I can chill and just watch without trying to read quick. The first time I watched in sub and I missed a lot. Second time I watched in dub and I saw/understood so much more. Yeah, the voices are really weird at first when you switch to dub but you get used to it. Lol

Brynn Ashcroft

I'm going to have to pick up one of those sick shirts!

BojacksReacts

I love how you can really feel the change in bryces voice. Hearing nothing but kirito 😭 both my MCs got a peak dub Va

hays collins

Thank you for my convenience! Watching or listening to this on my way home from work!

hays collins

“This being the walls is fucking me up” hahaha same

hays collins

Yeahhhhh these guys are definitely gonna be Jeagerists hahaha. They ate that info and accepted it so fast

Sabir

Chill bro, you are getting close to spoiler territory

Senzu Bean

Just to be clear, there are people who actually prefer the dub and not just for convenience. There is no need to show disdain (the other occasion being the 'hell no' to English remark) towards people with other preferences, the world already has too much hate on this subject.

BRIDGECO

lol we are rewatching everything in English, it’s still is little weird cause we’re used to hearing sub but we don’t dislike or hate it at all 😂

Senzu Bean

That's good to hear. It was bothering me so I needed to get it out of my mind because I really enjoy watching you guys. And as you've guessed, this series is special. We're there with you!

Julio Salazar

I really appreciate the english. I sub to reactors watching AOT because its one of my favs and I play this in the background while I shiny hunt in pokemon. Its so much easier to know what part you guys are on when its dubed. Plus AOT dubbed isnt that bad.

CoreyClip

I've always thought that this string of episodes is the perfect way to do a major exposition dump. The entire show so far has been giving hints to what's really going on but there were so many gaps in the story. These episodes fill in the majority of those gaps and let you finally understand and process nearly all of the questions you've had for three seasons straight. It's such a satisfying conclusion to the season and has you on the edge of your seat where most big long exposition dumps tend to be boring.

Matt

I mean... they're really not wrong for having that reaction. It might seem like a knee-jerk response in the moment, but looking at the overarching world Isayama built? The forces outside the walls present a total, existential threat to Paradis. The story is intentionally written with an extreme baseline that separates it from our own world—where one side is facing complete, unprovoked annihilation. It forces characters into a corner where extreme stances become a tragic struggle for survival rather than just simple villainy, because the narrative rarely leaves room for a middle ground. It's hard for some to separate our real world from this one, but the differences in how their history plays out are apparent; rather than giving us a world where hope wins, the author crafted one where the cycle of hatred leaves almost no room for it at all.
