UGHHHHHH. I've never been this hype and conflicted in my life. Oh and they just keep throwing extra curveballs in there every episode 😭 We missed so much in the 4 year time jump. And I don't want anyone dying at the end of the day, there has been enough 😭😭 I truly don't know how this can end.

if zeke eats eren he couldn't do anything because of the will of the king, any of the people that have royal blood inherit the will when they get the founding titan, tht's why none of the decendents of the king were able to change anything ,so no, the answer is not for Zeke to eat Eren

The way you guys are so perceptive to the messaging of the show on your first watch is why you guys are my favorite reactors. I remember having a discussion in a poli sci class about how it was impossible for film media to be truly anti-war because dramatization doesn’t allow for the nuances of the loss and hopelessness of war in an impactful manner to the overall story. I ended up doing a project on AoT because it’s so underrated for the great job it does of showing not only the pov of the Paridisans and how good it feels to be victorious in a battle (an objectively epic one) but also the other side of the conflict, the parallels between the sides, and the brutality of loss on both sides. Neither side is really achieving much at the end of the day, they are radicalized in their own ways and take action in the ways that seem necessary, which from a viewer standpoint we know is irrational or immoral. Sorry for the yap sesh, I love AoT and you both rock for watching from a more nuanced lens as the show kicks off into that territory.

“It couldn’t have been Floch?!” 😂 As much as I hate seeing Sasha go we were lucky to have had her till this episode. The writer of the manga was originally intending for her to die somewhere in season 2, but changed his mind after an editor begged him to let her live longer.

Btw it has nothing to do with Eren eating the war Hammer, now that they have Zeke (a titan with royal blood), Eren (the founder) can access the true power of the founding titan if they touch, if you remember he was only able to fully use it when he came into contact with Dina Fritz(a titan with royal blood). A lot of reactors always say Eren should just hold hands with Historia but this wouldn’t work as she is not a titan.

fun fact: the japanese word for devil ('Akuma') and the japanese pronounciation of 'Ackermann' sound exactly the same. In the scene where Porco Galliard (jaw titan) is looking up and saying 'these are the devils from paradise', we see Levi's face when Porco says 'Akuma' (devil) which also sounds like 'Ackermann'

I'm a stan for Gabi, as much as I am for Floch, as much as I am for Yelena, as much as I am for Reinner, as much as I am for Zeke, as much as I am for Armin, as much as I am for any of the characters. I understand that each of the actions of each character makes sense considering the environment they are in and the experiences they have lived through. The series' main purpose is to show that no one is simply innocent or simply guilty. And I think you should call me lady or lordess since I am a woman 🤣🤣

when i got to s4, my brother told me a female character a lot of people hated was gonna be introduced. i finished the show and he asked me my thoughts on “that character”… i had to confirm/ask if it was gabi or yelena bcs i couldn’t really see any of the new characters being “hated” by so many people 😭 just didnt make sense to me to hate any of them that being said,,i do think people tend to dislike characters like gabi regardless of context (young, loud, bold, stubborn, “arrogant”/confident), and her killing sasha might just be the sprinkle on the cake for some people

I understand her character is supposed to be a parallel of Eren, but I still hate her. I think most people feel that way because unlike Eren, we didn’t get several seasons and years to bond with ber character so we don’t feel an attachment to her. We didn’t get 3 seasons of her struggle so that it makes us more compassionate of her losses.

same people seem to hate gabi for fighting back Sasha had a fafo moment. Floch hate is interesting, he speaks his mind and is a perfect representation of brainwashed hatred. Also people conveniently forget eldians started the whole attacking the world when they got titans. In fact Eldians with titan powers have the literal power to fight back but choose not to. instead they sided with Marley. in a weird way eldians are theren own worst enemy.

my old sergeant with multiple deployments under his belt, while deployed with him told me not to be eager and pissed if the enemy kills you cuz we are trying to do the same so I understood gabi and honestly didn't bother me when Sasha died.
