I suggest watching these a couple times. There is a lot of information. A lot you're missing.. And that's understandable.. Because it is a lot.. But totally worth it. One little note. Lestat didn't die off screen as you say. We saw him get gunned down in the street. That is what they are using to fake his death. You can't show the world you're a vampire by surviving being gunned down. Hence the need for Jarda.. to slyly somewhat prove that he isn't a vampire and fool people while still getting to live out in the open.. and unfortunately it's inspiring other vampires that this way of life is possible. When all Lestat really wants is therapy.. and that's what his music is all about. His expression. Rebreaking himself so he can heal from it all. And the fact that Lestat would only leave his studio during that time to try to help Louis speaks volumes to his character and how much he loves Louis. Even though he was going through it at the time. He still dropped everything for a loved one. Very relatable for me. Lestat really can be very decent as a person. He is also growing as a person IMO. Like Louis.. who was growing and now seems to be regressing a bit. Stained Glass Eyes gets me.. every time I watch that scene. Waterworks. He really did love Claudia so much. And has regrets on how he parented. And also we know that some of what was said about bad things he did to her possibly isn't true anyway.. Aside from Charlie which I think he acknowledges in his flashback in regret.. making her watch Charlie burn. It was a cruel lesson he was trying to teach her. And it's how he was CLEARLY parented. And he hates himself for it. I just wanna give bro a big hug. I really feel for him and everything he's been through.. Everything he is going through. And Louis too. He needs to stop.. I think Lestat and Louis really just need each other right now. I am glad they are talking again.. even if Lestat is angry with Louis. Great reaction. VERY much looking forward to your reaction to episode 6. Wowzers is all I'll say about what you two are in store for lol.

I’m editing now and being able to take it all in again finally 😭i know im not the best reacting to this show it’s so much to process first watch, it’s legit my favorite show but i gotta watch every episode multiple times 😂 ima really try and get my mind right for the last 2 episodes

You're doing fine though. I think everyone misses a lot the first time around. Because so much is sort of retconned throughout because of the recollection issues and what not. This is a show that is almost meant to be viewed MULTIPLE times. The writing is SO in depth/layered and beautifully crafted. It's also my favorite show. By a MILE. I think it's the best show on TV right now.. And it's not particularly close. If they don't win a bunch of Emmys next year. I will literally riot. You two are some of my fav reactors for this show. You guys and MovieMan101 probably my 2 fav reactors specifically for this content. MovieMan is fantastic.. I'd love it if you guys did some collab work sometime. His channel deserves so much more acclaim. Knows his shit (When it comes to film/media) and very thoughtful in how he approaches this show and his viewers. He's also a big horror fan like you two. So I think it would be a good match to do something collaborative. (I know he's open to the idea) Just a suggestion that I think a lot of people would really enjoy.

my favorite thing someone said about the end of this ep is “oh so lestat can tell armand to kill himself and that’s okay but armand tells larry to rest and he’s the bad guy?!” skfksfjsjd i assume armand has his nefarious reasons for what he does but his excuse is likely that lestat broke the fourth great law with larry: no vampire should reveal himself to a mortal and let that mortal live. so he was kinda… cleaning up after lestat 😭

So fun watching along with y'all for my 3rd of 4th watch of each episode. :) Just a little misunderstanding, I think brought on by Marius' rambling manner of speaking, but he wasn't saying he caused the moon to burn vampires, just that there was a night when vampires burned even though they were not out in the sun, caused by him leaving Enkli out in the sun, having passed out drunk while moving them from one vault to another. Marius himself was inside with Akasha when it happened, and he too was burning. Very irresponsible, Marius!

The theory I've been reading from others is because Akasha is 'the seed,' all of the questions she's posing are the voices of every vampire who lived and died. Some of the questions sound like young girls and women wondering what will happen to them before they're sacrificed. I haven't read any of the books so I have no clue, myself.
