jay hatcher

oh boy, I've been waiting for this since you guys started the show.

Malcolm

Just made my day with this upload! I have been waiting for this for so long.

Foggy

OH BOY HERE WE GO

PapaXan

What could make us happier than a beautiful red wedding?

Megan Burland

the episode that made reaction channels a thing lol

JSin

weddings man.

CastorLeda

Yeah actually thanks

Mickey Ross

AHHHHHH, just got off work, let the wedding begin

Ellie Williams

Poooor Bridget. I knew this would hurt her too much. It hurt us all! However looking back now, I apologize but as much as I love the Starks (and I really do), they were trapped in the past and thinking and fighting like they did years ago. And as much as I hate the Lannisters (and I really really do), they are using modern warfare. The Starks are too honorable to play the game but everyone else is. Anyone who resists change will eventually lose. They were such good people that they couldn't even imagine how far their enemies would go. It ultimately doomed Ned, Robb and Catelyn. "I think you lost this war the day you married her." This episode aired 10 years ago and I'm surprised that people are still surprised. I mean it's a great thing that the secret is kept, but even if people have never watched Game of Thrones, I would think they would've heard about the Red Wedding. But then we wouldn't have great reactions like this one. Thx for your impressive hard work editing these so quickly so your pain could be our pleasure. I AM happy now!

Mauro

Oh trust us bridget it hurts ALL OF US

Robert L

One of the best moments in TV history. I know it's really dark but man it really is exciting when characters you really love aren't safe. It makes it so unpredictable.

Madeleine Howard

I wish you would keep the recording going to work through the emotions! Even if it’s just you sitting there lol it would be good to get your thoughts even though you’re mad!

Robert L

The song Cat heard playing above her was called the "Rains Of Castamere" The song was mentioned in the previous episode by Cersei. It was created after Tywin murdered a whole family. You hear the song played numerous times in the show. Tyrion whistles it early in season 2. Bronn and the soldiers sing it during the Blackwater episode. She knew something was wrong playing a Lannister song. That why she looked so nervous.

Annashaki

Really been waiting for this one! And it did not disappoint.

Annashaki

I'm sorry guys! We all felt the same way, but keep watching it's still a good show. You will survive this; we all did. 💜

Corey

This is the episode that basically started the reaction trend on youtube. The books had been written years before this, so people knew what was coming and filmed their friends reactions to it.

Dani

Ooof, brutal. Bridgettes cry outs and Cody’s shell shock. 💔what I noticed most though is how you both experience and react to the show together. Not even noticing how you grip each others hands 😂. It was my first time watching a reaction to this episode with that level of support. You’ve got each other and the rollercoaster ride this show gives is so worth it! I have favorite episodes of every season, but season 4 collectively is my favorite. Keep watching!

Clank & Ratchet

Yea, i remember watching this. I swore to not watch another episode of the show, but i couldn't help myself in the end.

djburnette87

how i was anticipating this reaction vid.

Abigail Buck

Officially A MAN AND LADY OF WINTER now. No longer sweet summer children

Chrissy

Omg, what did I just watch, I’m in tears but furious, holy shit

Laura Thornley

For context for the second scene (and I know, I know... it doesn't matter so much now... though it kind of does) - they were offered bread and salt, which is a ceremonial offering of hospitality. Walder Frey invited them formally into his home, offered them protection and hospitality. Its a deeply religious display too - because its essentially swearing on the Seven that you'll do no harm to your guests. And, you know. He ignores all that. So what he did was awful in multiple ways.

Sivan

I guess no one warned you about the Red Wedding

daeornight

My sadistic ass is cackling watching y'all's reaction😂. I've seen this show so many times it doesn't even phase me anymore. You guys took it better than a lot of reactors I watch. A few straight up walked off and the camera cut. No words after the episode was done.

Jack S

The book red wedding hits even harder. Grey Wind, Robs wolf, can sense something is wrong as soon as they get to the twins and just starts attacking people. For that, Lord Walder makes a big fuss and convinces the Starks to lock him away. Robs final words in the book are " Grey Wind" so many people suggest Rob dies, then wargs into Grey Wind like Bran does with his wolf and then actually gets killed again as Grey Wind. In the books, the Starks are much more aware Walder Frey might pull something like this but Walder offers them Bread and Salt, guest gifts, in accordance with traditions of Guest Right, the Starks then get much more relaxed. Guest right says that if your hosts offer you bread and salt then there is peace and no harm will come to you under their roof. The Freys violate guest right and are absolutely despised by everyone in the 7 Kingdoms for it including Jamie and the Lannister soldiers who respected Rob Stark as a leader and warrior. #StannistheMannis

Laura Thornley

Also, here's my first minor gripe with this season. They didn't include the really cool scene in the Night Fort where Sam and Gilly pass through a magic gate shaped like a face. Its such a minor gripe, but... that was such a cool bit of world building.

Shawn

There's gonna be some serious funerals & the board looks like it will need to be adjusted after this episode. But till then...The Lannisters send their regards Bridgette & Cody...

Cramdeon1969

Not sure I'm happy but it feels a little better welcoming 2 more to the club 🤦‍♂️

Laura Thornley

On the upside... uh. Next episode is cool?

Plinko Zoinks

When Bridgette was like, "Our next wedding should be like this..." I almost spat out my water. Congrats on surviving 3x9. It's a rite of passage for all GoT fans. Don't give up. It's worth it to continue.

Amanda Sargent

The most brutal parts make the good ones that much sweeter - the best is yet to come!

Nicole Lush

you guys are great. started with your yellowjackets reactions & now I'm here. I think your intros are great. reactions are great. here to stay.

Alfredo Vias

Definitely a rite of passage episode right here

Amanda Sargent

I figured out how to get it to play, ignore my other questiions

Chuckloaf

a few more names for the graveyard. Give them a proper burial by saying a few words and playing the full "Marine's Hymn". I think they deserve that much, at least.

Jason Hammock

It is sadistic that I AM happy now. I originally wrote that as a question but we all know the answer.

Mel

Yeah your reaction was much calmer than mine. There are some scenes to rival that in the future but it remains one of the most brutal scenes in TV history !

Pam Nail

When your note on the previous episode was "Worst wedding ever?" I though oh, you sweet summer children. Welcome to the episode that basically gave birth to reaction channels as we know them today.

Ciara Armstrong

I’m so glad you guys have each other though. When I watched this, no one else I knew was watching it and I watched this episode alone and bawled my eyes out. Hope you’re both okay!

Harry Ballsak

Bridgette : "Our next wedding should be like this" Me: "You sure about that?"

Justin Thompson

I'm a grown ass man and this episode makes me cry everytime ive watched it. Also the reason why Catelyn turns and looks horrified when the band starts playing that song after locking the doors, is the song thats being played is "The Rains of Castamere" which i believe is about a house(family) that is destroyed. Cersei references it in last episode when talking to Margery. It's one of those things you dont notice until you watch it a second time.

Marcos Paulo

When Bridge says "can we have a wedding like this?" I was like, oh honey noooo. 😂

Marcos Paulo

Cody, "Roose Bolton is an asshole" wait to you proper meet his kid.

Marcos Paulo

Don't worry guys, children are the future. 😁

Diana Gero

Welcome to the Red Wedding guys! We've all been in your shoes and each gone through a box of Kleenex! 😪 The ONLY upsides are: 1. Arya survived. 2. You are NO LONGER SWEET SUMMER CHILDREN! You are now "Children of WINTER"! S3/E9 is the rite of passage!! Much love to you both! ❤️

Kerry Knight

Now things start to get interesting.. ✌️

CastorLeda

I knew she’d blow out the mic this ep and it’s made me so happy haha

Plinko Zoinks

When Ned dies, you think, "Okay, nobody is safe." When the Red Wedding happens, you think, "Nobody is safe...EVEN IN GROUPS."

Tyler Schnabel

If only the show would have carried on with “Lady Stoneheart,” that was a serious missed opportunity. The actress would have been incredible.

COREY Ervin Scott-Johnson

Like, how do you get the job of stabbing the baby in the pregnant womans stomach? SMH

Ron B

Saw that you guys already had this on the patreon so of COURSE I had to join 🥺😢😭. Not so painful looking back at Ned's death anymore now is it? 😬😅

Jillian

I binged this show in 2019 to catch up for the finale so I could watch it with my now husband and I remember being absolutely speechless and cried for the rest of the day. I didn’t see it coming.

Ciara Armstrong

I only just learnt today that the actress that plays Robb’s wife Talisa is Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter.

Jeff Jake

I think everyone who watched this episode had the same reaction. "I'm done watching this show."

Nomad

Was waiting for this reaction, awesome

Itss_NattyJ

After happily watching all of your TLOU gameplay and my newfound addiction to your GOT reactions, I figured it was time I became a patron. Thrilled to be here!

ImHigh Sorry

I don't know if you remembered by this point, but all Sam ever wanted to be was a wizard. So when Gilly says you're like a wizard, it's like she validated him completely accidentally.

Erin Black

This Episode shows just how evil human beings can be, because "The Red Wedding" was based on two events that happened in our actual history: 1) "The Black Dinner" 2) "The Massacre of Glencoe in AD 1692" Both of these events happened in Scotland. 😭😱🤬
