After logging out of vision Expanse, I moved over towards the computer. I had to admit, a small part of me was hoping that the reaction of Udona's guild members wouldn't be so extreme. I had expected it, but at the same time, they had accepted Udona's identity previously without much fuss.

I see where Dale is going with his plan with the thief but why not just confront them personally and bring them down a peg or two considering how arrogant the Council has been behaving.

Aside from the fairygate incident Dale has never "directly" intervened. The most direct he does things normally is through his pantheon or with a worldhost while assuming a random identity. And I feel like he only made an real appearance back in that kingdom cuz' the fairygate was something where he had to show up personally. That said I agree that I'd like to see him intervene directly, but that'd pretty much guarantee a rebellion against the council down the line, which again would result in a massive surge of new residents for the underworld.
