When the shadowy figure waved his hand, dark spears formed in the void of space, each nearly a foot thick. With a casual flick of his finger, these spears were launched towards the Sky Citadel, crashing against its barrier and sending motes of light flashing across its surface. "Ohh?"

I wonder how much mana Dana would need to summon the Mad King? For something so close to a complete Deity I'd expect it to actually go far beyond being merly obscene amount.

That depends on how much power Aurivy puts into the summon. If she makes it so that the Mad King itself is summoned in its entirety, then... it would require a large mana-producing facility simply to meet that demand. However, if Aurivy keeps it smaller, making it so that only a fraction of the Mad King's power is summoned, it could be more manageable for her.
