First look at a new intro animation for Super Boxing Day!

We had originally planned on April for the game, but it’s now looking more like May or June. This game has the potential to be our biggest launch so far (since the original Boxing Day is our most-played web game). Basically, we just want to make sure it has enough new content to justify a paid release and that it launches without any game-breaking bugs.

One of the biggest new features will be splitting the game into two modes: Arcade Mode and Story Mode. Arcade Mode will be similar to the current game on itch.io (with some new features added, like more post-match options). Story Mode will be more like Super Grapple Day, with choices and dialogue happening between matches.

The premise of the story is that April, a sorority president, is hosting a boxing tournament to decide who's worthy of being her next girlfriend. Everyone thinks this is a funny idea... but it turns out April is a cruel leader who demands violence. Will you give April the violent spectacle she wants or rebel against her?
