Super Boxing Day mid-April update (Patreon)

Lots of new updates!

We had mentioned a potential May release, and that's still sort of the case: we're hoping to do a beta release for paid Patrons in May. There may still be some bugs or features to come (it will probably be limited to Arcade Mode instead of Story Mode), but you'll be able to play through all the fights and see some of the new gameplay features and punishment mechanics.

One of the new features you might see in the trailer is a new special punch that works like the Star Punch in Punch-Out!! Basically, if you hit an opponent at a specific time, it gives you a charge that lets you do an extra-powerful punch that breaks through defenses.

We have also been programming the fights for the new characters Chiyo, Dani, and April. Chiyo has been moved up to the first fight as an easy tutorial, while Dani and April will be the most difficult final two matches. In general, we are tuning the default difficulty down a little bit for some of the existing fights, but there will also be opportunities for new challenges.

Work has also been going well on new minigames. There are now two simple sex games and a new belly punishment minigame. They're relatively simple and will mostly just be animations that you can control, as a reward for achieving things in the game.

Finally, there will be more content at the end of the month... Expect a familiar face in a major update to SpyPlay 2.
