Kayla Wolf

Fun fact about Lena: she's voiced by Kimiko Glenn who also voices Nifty in Hazbin!

Liam Gradwell

This just shows Kimiko Glenn is very versatile with her voice roles.

Elias Cristerna

I love how this episode is inspired by The Warriors (1979), especially with that one Beagle Boy with the three bottles on his fingers. All that was missing was him saying, "Warriors... come out to play-ee-ay!"

Roderick Hare

Yeah Lena has a bit of dark secret that she's hiding from Webby and the others, things are really getting interesting 🤔🤯

Mr. Waspman

23:16 Funny thing is, in the original 1987 show. They were all exactly the same. This show is what gave them personality. Also, 23:46 technically, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is specifically when you get volcanic ash in your lungs.

Natasha Grimm

Whoo! Lena is one of my favorite characters. Honestly forgot she was introduced this early

Ross Jennings

Disney+ uses an alternate title for this episode, "The Beagle Birthday Breakout!". I'm guessing someone was put off by the whole "Massacre!" thing. IMHO "Breakout!" isn't a bad alternative -- the alliteration helps. Also, like "Woo-oo!" and "Daytrip of Doom!", this is one of the episodes directed by Dana Terrace!

Joey Quixote

Yay! You've met Lena! Probably the best new addition to the cast. You hit the nail on the head. No offense to the boys, but it's nice for Webby to have another girl as a friend. I personally did not have a cool older kid in my life, but I get the dynamic. And yeah, the non-romantic Elisco comparison might have secured some votes for this show on the Discord. You're close on the age. The wiki lists Lena as 14, but that's a little muddy. One of the creators says she's roughly a year older than Webby, but that would make her 12, and she definitely seems older than that. Still there's evidence later on that she's 15. Up to interpretation I guess? But I'd think 13-14 is most accurate. Yeah, one of the boys falling for Lena immediately was a concern of mine as well. I wouldn't want to deal with another Dipper & Wendy situation. Fortunately, the messy romance tropes are relegated to the adults here. Although, there is a fascinating discourse as relates to one of the kids, but you're a ways out from that episode yet.

Mr. Waspman

Lena is voiced by Kimoko Glenn, the same person who voices Niffty in Hazbin Hotel. She also voices that baby shark meme. Quite a varied resume. Also, I'm pretty sure Lena wanted to break into the party solely because it's dangerous, and therefore fun. Or maybe it's something "Aunt Magica" wanted her to do for some reason.

Omegon

Well they say dolphins are like humans in some regards.

Omegon

Louie and Lena are my favorites.

MxFlix

Flix with the comic facts again, I guess: Firstly, in the comics the Beagle Boys are lead by *Grandpa* Beagle. I don't recall reading anything on why it was changed for the original Ducktales and subsequently here. Also, as the triplets are very much not individuals in the comics, they take in unison basically *all the time*. That, or they finish each others sentences.

Corvacks

She also played Horse in Centaurworld, which is an interesting show by itself.

David Johnson

Probably to do a riff on "Ma Barker" and her crime family.

Someday Sera

she's secretly a goose! the scandal!

Luke Teasdale

After finishing the series myself and hearing lenas British accent, oh so that's where she got it from... 😜 If you know, you know.

SweetCandle

I'm still not sure why FHTNG TH§ ¿NSP§KBL? is in the intro.

Christopher Bouzas

Dolphins wouldn’t do that… they’d do much worse things to them, those bastards are the psychopaths of the sea

Christopher Bouzas

I thought Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia was the longest word

Jay (aka Kairukurumi)

Yeah as you probably guessed, the villains, ESPECIALLY Auntie Magica, are from the original. Pretty sure I had a movie as a kid on VHS with her in it. Something about a magic lamp?

Anais Winter

one of my absolute fav. characters........she is amazing......and Aunt Magica who shows up later gets voiced by Catherine Tate.....in case you saw David and her together in Doctor Who.
