I really actually enjoyed this episode, can't wait to see how all this ends!!

So unfair that this dropped right as I got to work!

Kayla Wolf

Can't wait for the finale! Also I think the subtitles were wrong, Shax was saying she brought Crowley's mail (the papers) and that it was piling up at his apartment's door

Kitty89

just a heads up she said " I've got your mail" the subtitles were wrong . Its not that deep lol .

GeeksFTW

i think the subtitles in the scene outside the bookshop between Shax and Crowley are incorrect. I think what Shax is really saying is "i brought your mail.". Which makes better sense with the scene, since Shax has been living at Crowley's old place. Shax did the same thing in episode 1 on the park bench, when she was introduced.

Trash

The captions are wrong shax says “ive brought your mail”

Regina Diana

The finale is soon upon us! …. Do you hear that?

Lin

Fun thing that I missed at first is when the gusts enter the ball there clothes change, that's why everyone except Nina is wearing formal clothing.

Liam Gradwell

Loved the Doctor Who references in this episode, like both the annual and the fez. A little nod to David Tennant’s other well-known role. “Hint hint”. 😆

I really like this one. “Rescuing me makes him so happy” is one of my favorite lines from both series. Aziraphale has been getting himself into trouble for centuries to get a date with Crowley. Remember the Bastille? Where he couldn’t do a miracle to save himself but had no problem doing one to change clothes so they could go get Crepes? Sneaky angel!

Azirapalalala

Shax : violently discorporates demon Mosco : valid. Shax : interrupts Azi and Crowley's dance Mosco : hOw DaRe YoU

Azirapalalala

As many comments pointed out on Youtube : funny how Nina automatically assume that Crowley can only have a husband or a boyfriend. She knows Crowley, she knows

Carabas

Jon Hamm doesn't get nearly enough credit for this role, both as Gabriel and as Jim. And wow, those subtitels are useless. Not just the mail thing, but when Crowley talks ro Mrs. Sandwich, he asks "Have you got a hatpin?" not a "hand in". That's two major errors in a random 20 second fragment.

Ryan

(Many unbearable hours later) Alright, let's see what the fuss is all about...

That's right, this season ends with back to back Gay Prom episodes! Fancy dress is encouraged. Of course, with the demons at the door, the ball will devolve into a dance off. Just when all is lost, and it seems like the demons are going to River Dance to victory, Crowly miracles himself a slinky red dress and six inch heels, and he and Azeraphale perform a tango that will make Princess Prom look like a middle school dance. ... ...do you hear that?

Mark Ten

The fez was a running gag in Doctor Who and David even wore one in an anniversary episode.

so the sub titles at the end there were actually wrong she said I brought your mail because she is living in Crowley's old apartment so it was all letters to him he responds with why she goes because it stacks up at the front door the joke was the extremely casual conversation in that moment

For anyone curious, both Nina and Crowley were dancing the "ladies" part while Maggie and Azi were dancing the "gentlemen" role.

Joey Quixote

"You're a good lad!" "I'm not. Either, actually." A nod to the fact that Crowley is a demon, or that Crowley is genderfluid? Yes.

Nightowl

Reminds me of a somewhat famous Star Trek exchange between Sulu and Uhura: “I’ll protect you, fair maiden!”—“Sorry, neither.” Besides being very funny, the “not a maiden” part was apparently something that had to fly under the radar of the censors at the time.
