The Most Dangerous Game.... Night!

He's Suffering???

Alex Koder

One of my favorite episodes.

Alex Koder

Soon Mosco will get to see how Glomgold is far more Scottish, Clever and rich than Scrooge McDuck. You never see McDuck wearing a skirt. And you don't see Scrooge thinking up a clever scheme to catch twice as many fish!

Crimson

Hate to break it to you, Mosco, but don’t expect any more scenes with Della until season three. One of the storylines this season focuses solely on Donald continuing to fix his houseboat. Oh, and Louie collecting every flavor of Pep.

Alex Koder

So weird fact. Season 1 the fandom had a ship war going on between Dewey x Webby and Lena x Webby. If memory serves this episode torpedoes the Dewy x Webby ship utterly.

Coboat

lets not focus on shipping rn... because this show is NOT about shipping. especially the children.

Rachel Espiritu

Really looking forward to the episodes about Donald fixing his houseboat. Plot is overrated, nothing beats watching happy little ducks paint happy little boats.

Alex Koder

Mosco missing the repeated "Whoa, Wait...what!" occurring throughout the episode. Like when Gyro was shrunk.

Mr. Waspman

They actually DID change the theme song slightly. At 6:18 when the pictures of the faces of the main villains pop up in the background, one of the Beagle Boys has been replaced with Magica De Spell. The three biggest threats of the 1987 show (plus Mark Beaks) together again.

Syllephia

Poor Dewey. You'd think someone just asked what part of Ireland he's from

JHB

Don't anyone warn Mosco about the episode where the gang uncovers an ancient ruin, and find out that an older Webby was trapped in the past due to a time-travel disaster, and became the great-grandmother of the entire McDuck line.

Reym

I really love the attention to detail the writers had in making sure that Dewey was the one guessing in charades because season 1 confirmed that Webby is really good at it so they would've done much better if they switched. XD Also a little great visual note, one of the shots of Louie using the shrink ray is a shot-for-shot remake of a shot from the original opening for the "laserbeams" lyric. Overall, it's just fun to see Louie really get included and find his place. I love all the characters in this, so I'm so happy he gets some focus.

Alex Koder

As I've said before. Webby is Scrooge from the 3rd Age. She got into a fight with Chosen Glomgold while trying to seal away The Dark One and got blasted back into the 2nd Age thanks to Balefire. The Wheel Weaves as The Wheel Wills.

Syllephia

Does anyone else feel like Scrooge was kinda winding Louie up with that "you might be a bigger billionaire than I am one day" comment? I mean, him being richer than Scrooge is about as likely as him owning Scrooge's companies, given the lore. Just saying.

Alex Koder

And Scrooge losing his business because of a bad business deal his ancestor made. That Fritteraway Fox living in McDuck Manor is terrifying.

Alex Koder

Oh I think Mosco will figure that out when she sees the Cave Duck using a grappling hook.

Liam Gradwell

Love that Mosco proves that David Tennant can play any role and make it his own. He is very versatile, proud and confident. All the things you’ve just gotta love about him. ❤️☺️

CaptainChar

Also the intro did change, very slightly, they added Magica to the villain's panels that pop up

Flufux

They made two changes to the intro. They added both Gizmoduck and Magica De Spell at two respective parts. In the old intro, it was Little Bulb that shot the laser at the start, but now it's Gizmoduck, and when the villain faces show up near the end, one of the Beagle Boys is replaced by Magica.

Ferret

I find it interesting you predicted Louie ending up like Scrooge when, like... they all are? This episode was about Louie being sharper than the sharpies, but you also have Huey who's smarter than the smarties, and Dewey who's tougher than the toughies (not physically, which Scrooge isn't actually either, it's more about their grit, determination and daring).

Drakin Kovar

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but if you can make it to episode six of season 2 by December you could have a seasonal episode match the time of year. (It's Christmas themed and that's all I'll say about it.) Just a possible suggestion. ^_^;;

Arch Succubus Eclipse

Yeah.... That's sadly really the only 'bad' thing I could think of about the show is it 'droping' plot treads only to pick them up randomly later. Like it makes some sense but it's also a bit frustrating too.

Tyrant-Den

they do make slight alteration to the opening this season. Keep your eyes peeled for it.

Jessica V

You're going to see a lot more Louie this season. Each season will focus more on a different triplet. First season was Dewy, second season is Louie and third season will focus on Huey

largo778 .

thank you for the heads up. now we can plan our trolling accordingly

RavenFairy

Hay, if you look a little closer and count how many times, Louie got the most smoothest animation you can tell the artists loved Louie the most. Plus when I saw monopoly mentioned, my mom is the biggest monopoly collector, she screamed with joy.

Kit

…wait wait hold the phone is this a Wheel of Time reference???

Alex Koder

Yup. Big fan of the series.

Emmy A.

So many great funny moments and lines in this episode. “I’m just lovably lazy that’s all.” “GAME NIGHT!” “Wait, I was in the will?” But the winner for me is Dewey’s offended face at Scrooge; it’s so good and it makes me laugh every single time.

MxFlix

Fun fact: The "running away from a rolling thing after getting the treasure" bit is not stolen from Indiana Jones - Spielberg got it from the Duck comics.

Kit

AYYY DUDE my godmother was the editor of that series (and the widow of the author )!!! She lives like 15 minutes away from me and we get lunch all the time. The money from those books literally paid for my college education. So thanks for being a fan!!! Those books have been pretty huge in my life and it makes me so excited when i see a wild WoT refrence ^-^

Annieme

“Hands up if you agree” My hand shot straight up and so… yeah lol. 🙋 Also “what in the hilda sht is this??” I love when we have tiny crossover episodes in reactions xD

Dinker

Mosco looks super done with the outtro bit, it's cute in a sad way. And she is delivering it well, just the behind the scenes bit...

Tyrant-Den

Still waiting on the next one
