Oh my god, they were roommates. Bless Peridot for trying so damn hard to just be friends with Lapis, just to get to know her! All she wants is a friend so she's not so lonely on this alien planet, and to prove she's become a better person. I totally get Lapis' trepidation and anger...but it hurts seeing her be so mean, especially knowing what ups and downs those two have in their future.

Just as a headsup, since I got a weird hyperfixation thing the artist for the pillow is Drake_HDZ and they have a Patreon and the pictures are older and their chosen subject matter is... unique. It's not exceedingly offensive or anything, it's just very strangely niche.

What I like about Lapis is how the Ocean is so entwined with her character even down to her personality. One moment Lapis is calm and even gentle, and the next her emotions are like the fury of an ocean storm.
