Hearing this younger “happier” version of me they want be called “Classic” me would’ve given me hella identity and confidence issues. Poor Steven 😭

Annieme

Elijah laughing uproariously in the background at the beginning is excellent LMAO 😂

Develop

I know she didn't watch Epic the musical yet, but: 28:30 Poseidon Lapis

Alex

Elijah laugh was a herald of what’s to come in the first episode

I really like Snow Day. Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet are like retired parents who no longer have all those responsibilities that kept them from time with Steven and want to spend that time with him. Also, Gems are generally unchanging, so them having to adapt to Steven no longer acting or enjoying the same things as he did as a kid is a big adjustment for them. Steven now being a teenager (and taking on way too much responsibility) is really flipping the dynamic for everyone.

Adrian

I think this is the first time Pearl has shapeshifted since Rose faked her shattering. Huge moment showing how far she's overcome her own trauma.

Tyrant-Den

Lapis: 🎶I like to chill with the waves, but girls you've crossed the line🎶

Tyrant-Den

They said they'd half listen, and half of them came.

Stephen Mumford

I love that Mosco is having issues with Steven growing up as much as the Gems are.

Would you count her changing outfits, like her Beach Party outfit and her space suit as shapeshifting? People seem to have mixed opinions on that

Film Vagabond

I can't believe I had completely forgotten they played Steven Tag in the episode "Keep Beach City Weird" to be fair that was a 4 or 5 year gap for me

Siri2319

I like episodes 1-8 but 9 till the end at episode 20 are definitely banger after banger of episodes so I am so excited to see the rest of the show reactions!!!

Camaleonino#

oh my gosh, nooo the reaction ended :( please realise the next soon, o love watching it with you, your reactions are nice

Curtis Harvey

I wouldn't count outfits. While her clothes and body are both "projected" from the gem, her clothing is still inanimate.

Lauren Madden

Snow day is one of my all time favourite Steven universe episodes!!

ArcticBanana

To be fair to the previous episode, they might have all been acting out of character because they were acting for Sunstone's safety video.

Jesus Zavala

She is very much a mom at heart (just watch her Hilda reactions haha) alongside her reaction of him grown up in the movie, he's growing up too fast for her! 🥰

Alp

Why So Blue is good but man.................................... Snow Day is SO cute. especially considering what's gonna happen in the Future. i love the gems trying to be....... like.......... supportive awkward parents?????????????? idk. i love them. Future is so good and eughg idk i'm drunk rn and cant make a good comment rn

OziasEvren

I absolutely love hearing Elijah in the background 🥰 it makes me so happy

Charles Bowden

Same! Watching her go through the stages of grief over the Cheeseburger backpack.

Possible spoiler(not sure) just want to point out that I'm pretty sure the other lapis weren't as strong as our lapis was because they are probably era 2 lapis. In Steven universe Peridot mentions era 2 gems are made to be weaker due to dwindling resources. and if i remember correctly gems are made from the essence of the diamonds, so that means that the limited resources was because they could no longer get Pink diamonds essence. don't remember if that was explained in the show or not so i don't know if they is a spoiler.
