I have a possible theory on Lillith. What if It was Lillith who gave birth to Charlie, was a good mother, yada yada yada... but at some point Roo/Eve/whatever kidnapped her and took her place as a doppelganger?

To me at least, Lilith has the same facial structure as the painting we saw in the pilot, and a few others. Maybe she's just wearing a different outfit in the rest and got rid of the necklace because she doesn't care about Lucifer or Charlie. Don't get me wrong, I think there's some truth to the theory about her not being the biological mom, but I remember most of those paintings looking enough like the non obscured parts here.

Someone didn't pay attention in Sunday School! Abel is not a reference to the Amazing Digital Circus, but to the Bible. Cain and Abel were Adam's sons. Cain murdered Abel because God accepted Abel's offerings but not Cain's. Thus, they are the first murderer and first murder victim. Cain was condemned to walk the earth for eternity for his crime, so will not be in Heaven or Hell.

I think he cared about her in SOME capacity? But yeah, I doubt it was romantic love. I don't think Adam is really capable of that, at least not where he was by the time he was in the show.

So fun fact, if you’ve ever seen the movie Anastasia, Liz Callaway who is the voice and singer for the Speaker of God is also the voice and singer for Anastasia. Patina Miller’s voice is incredible I watched her in Pippin a long time ago she is memorizing so those high notes she hits as Sera are just *chef’s kiss*. Also Lute’s song did not give me greatest showman vibes for the song but it’s awesome and will be stuck in my head for a long time now.

Oh yeah, Lute, or "if evil, why hot" XDD No worries, that's valid AF ^^ Also, Cain & Abel were, in the Bible, Adam & Eve's first kids, Cain muredered Abel (Abel was a sheperd, and Cain a farmer, and God preferes sheep meat over wheat I would say), so Abel was the first murder victim, went to heaven, and Cain, as the first murderer, was condamned to walk on earth till the ends of time with is guilt (no heaven, no hell, just an eternity of solitude)

For a while now I’ve had a theory that Lilith is Charlie’s biological mother but Eve was the mother who raised her. Like maybe Lilith went to heaven a long time ago and Eve decided to disguise herself as Lilith and take her place for some reason. But Eve is also Roo and she had to leave 8 years ago because her Roo side started to take over. But here we see Charlie’s calls are going through to the real Lilith so maybe I’m totally wrong. Unless Lilith was in on Eve doing that somehow, I don’t know.

I think Abel is a people pleaser because he really wanted a good relationship with his dad. I genuinely think he could be a good friend (only friend) to lute if they talked about how they feel about their loss. Abel seems calm about adams death but he clearly doesn't outright hate Adam. He probably feels a lack of closure with how messed up their relationship was.

I don't see why people think that just because Pentious got redeemed that Adam would be in Hell. He got stabbed by Nifty using angelic weapons, we KNOW that's what permanently kill both demons and angels. And we don't need Adam back anyway. These were two great episodes, and an amazing way to start a new season! Next Wednesday can't come fast enough! :D

Luke has no points like left to their own devices. The sinner is in hell would fight amongst each other the exterminations banded them together and allow them to overcome heaven without the exterminations. There is no threat.

Pentious witnessed Jack the Ripper's 1st murder! i can understand Lute's anger for not being the leader of the army and having a beta like Abel taking charge instead of her, that would piss anyone off . the Gravity song goes so fucking hard and Lute's so fucking hot does anyone see a death flag on Sera cause i do?

actually...i've been thinking the red in her hair floof might actually be her right horn, the shape is about right, and the floof goes across her head in a way that the left horn could be under the other end. I wonder if they just get longer when she's angry/demon form, but are always there, it's hard to tell.

The timing may not mean anything, but, we DO see Roo before lilith or eve in the opening of the first episode of season 1, implying she may be older than either of them. Still...my money is on eve, corrupted by the apple and cast down. Sealed away somewhere, but...something is up with Charlie, at the very least, consider that she seems to be in her twenties, yet Lillith and Lucifer would presumably have been together for billions of years. it's possible they simply waited that long, but it's also possible there is a reason they waited that long (or that charlie is MUCH older than we've been led to believe) I'm not sure I buy mosco and elijah's theory, but there is something there.

Sir Pentious's pain over not being able to see his friends highlights a theological question of how those in Heaven can actually be happy knowing that at least some of their friends and family are being tortured forever in Hell. The answers come up with so far are... problematical.

I think the skepticism over what happened to Sir Pentous is warranted. What is more likely, something that has never happened before and is believed with good reason to be impossible or a powerful demon finding a way to send someone through? The problem with proving a miracle is theres nothing ti comapre it to.

As for best way to handle the political situation, I think the key to preventing future uprisings is to make sure no one have a reason to revolt in the future. Which goes beyond helping the sinners get redeemed. No reason hell needs to be as bad as it is. Sinners like the vees sure need to be handled one way or another but in general most arent that bad and the demons in helluva boss seem capable of being fine. Current power structure a mess. This show gives a lot to think about.

Hi Bach, I'm Mozart! We may not see Adam in hell, but if Abel is here, then Cain must be down there for winning at Super Smash Bros. I like your theory that people get into Heaven or Hell because *they* believe they deserve it ... if we find out how Angel Dust (or his sister) died we can test that theory. It would be one hell of a subversion of Christian mythology if all it takes to get into Heaven is thinking you deserve it, rather than, y'know, being a good person. The problem with Lute's argument is that she's viewing Hell as a monolith. Consider how you'd feel if you were judged by the worst members of your community. Yes, the Vees would probably invade Heaven given half a chance. The other overlords... it remains to be seen what they want to do. And of course any of the cannibals that survived will want seconds. But on the other hand, Heaven is not a monolith, either. Most of the angels were unaware of the extermination, and probably wouldn't want them to resume. But what could cause issues in Heaven is ... if a soul can ascend from Hell, could an angel fall from Heaven? Lucifer was an arch-angel, that's one thing, but your average soul from Earth? That might cause some anxiety... It's funny that some of my favorite portrayals of Christianity - Hunchback of Notre Dame, Good Omens, Hazbin Hotel, all do the one thing you're never supposed to do - question it. And I love it. Some of the most Christian people I've met, aren't.

The speaker seems to confirm the existence of a god in this universe. In legend I am pretty sure God's Speaker is called the Metatron or Gabriel depending on the myth. We haven't heard or seen any of heavens big names. Gabriel, Azreal, Uriel, Raphael or most importantly Michael. Either they are trapped elsewhere or doing important celestial functions that demand all their time or they are all incredibly hands off.

I hope we get to know his character better, and I don't want him to die 🥺 Also, Sir Pentious (oh... poor guy) has always been one of my favorites, and this episode is amazing. Lute and Adam do have points but... the main reason Sinners are so pissed and WANT to kill angels in the first place is because the exterminations started and they have been getting slaughtered every year for seven years. Also another fun note maybe not plot relevant but seven is also a signifigant number in several bible stories. Like with Joseph advising Pharoh about the famine that was coming to save a certain amount of each harvest for the next seven years.

I feel like the heaven/hell dynamic in this show is playing out in a Buddhist way of thinking.. yes, Adam was a shitbird and I have a hard time believing that he never did anything that wouldn't be considered wrong by the typical moral compass.. but he didn't believe he did anything reprehensible, so his conscious was clear.. while pentious didn't actually DO anything wrong, but he felt like he did, so he sent himself where he believed he deserved to be.
