There seem to be some video skips/hiccups (see 13:38 after Blake turns away from Yang and then it just cuts to Jaune). Is anyone else having that issue?

BGTitan

Ep 10: Maria continues to be the best. The reveal that Adam has actually been stalking Blake was well done. Of course, he’d wait until she split off from the rest of her group. “Why did you have to come into my life and ruin everything!” This man is delusional, good grief. The flash of him on the train was the real him. He was wearing his V4-6 outfit. And Qrow had mentioned the door to the back of the train had been left wide open. But the one we saw at Brunswick Farm was just Yang’s PTSD. He was in his old V1-3 outfit, which makes sense because that’s the last time Yang saw him. Ep 11: RIP Bumblebee (the bike). Your final act in this series was hitting a jackass in the face and I’ll always respect that. You sank so that Bumbleby could triumph. o7 The fight with Cordo’s mech is a pretty neat set piece. Definitely the biggest thing these kids have fought so far. I can’t even begin to imagine how complicated it was to animate with all the moving pieces (characters and mech parts).

CheetsAC7

In a show full of terrifying monster villians, with overwhelming power and whatever-the-hell Salem is, Adam some how ends up being one of scariest villians in the show. Because as you pointed out, he's too real. For Adam's blindfold, I've always assumed it was just a sheer fabric that allows him to see through it since it's so close to his eyes, but still hides his eyes from everyone else.

Annieme

The reaction when Adam makes an appearance is priceless 😌

SQX Barto

"I love it when you are feisty," - Yang said to Ruby, not Blake :) I think the spider girl said a "big guy" asked about them, so that should be Hazel. The scar on Adam's face is the SDC logo - Schnee Dust Company. I'm not sure if it was an accident, punishment, or some sort of slave marking.

Suplee215

I think v5 adam makes complete sense with the stalker Incel archetype adam is. Often if they don't have the advantage, they are cowards and run.

Dre

She definitely said that line to Blake. Volume 2 chapter 2. It’s during the scene when the girls are discussing going after the White Fang. Yang looks and points directly at Blake when she says it.

CB Jones

It's definitely directed at Blake, Yang literally points at her as she says it. In the full line "Yes! I love it when you're feisty." The "Yes!" is directed to Ruby, then she turns to adress Blake as she says the rest.

SportySpice

Huh? Yang definitely says that line to Blake while pointing at her. And Blake smiles in response.

Robert Hunter

That scar on Adam's face is actually SDC (Schnee Dust Company logo). Apparently, Adam was tortured after committing a crime as a worker in forced labor because of his heritage of being half-human.

SQX Barto

Ruby said an enthusiastic sentence, and Yang said after that, it has nothing to do with Blake.

JustMonika

I love rwby I know you said it wasn’t doing well engagement wise but I watch every single episode. I will be commenting and liking every vid to help.

MelAsia13

the scar on Adam face is SDC meaning Schnee Dust Company

Hi-Viz

It was directed at Blake. Also, thinking Yang said "I love it when you're feisty" at her sister is weird

SportySpice

This a new one. Just straight up denial of the visuals on the screen. Yang points directly at Blake, and Blake smiles and tilts her head in response.

CB Jones

8,146 works tagged with Blake/Yang on AO3 for anyone curious, if I remember right they were in the top 10 f/f pairings posted pretty regularly and might have made it to No.1 at one point, but citation needed on that, it was a while ago.

Suplee215

Is that confirmed? I can see it beint an "accident" of a fight. Basically someone insulted Adam or faunus, adam stood up and during the fight a machine meant for branding boxes or something hit his face. Can see both as possibilities though.

Alex

Yeah happened to me as well.

Curtis Murphy

i don't think the "Volume 5 Adam " stuff you were saying makes sense. He did not " go down from one punch". He saw he was outnumbered and escaped. But what happened with Adam was not a cause of the terrible combat last Volume.

Taigan

Yeah. Several in this recording. Hope they can get that fixed.

Curtis Murphy

Anytime Blake had a flash of Adam this Volume and he had the black ribbon over his eyes, that was really him. They cleverly had Yang see hallucinations of him too to make sure we never questioned whether the one Blake was seeing was real

RiekerVerse

Havent seen anyone else point it out yet, but that brand on Adam's face isnt numbers. you see it in the concept art during the credits, it says SDC. The Schnee Dust Company is responsible for disfiguring him.

Wootcat

Yang says that to Blake. Yang looks directly at Blake and points at her when she says it.

Wootcat

Yes, I had several points where it paused (but the video was still playing)

Curtis Murphy

Yeah a lot of reactors can't make it out at first and mistake it for numbers. I get it.

RiekerVerse

i know i didnt get it right away back when this aired, its been a long time since we've seen this version of the SDC logo, and it isnt entirely clear on his face, glad they included it in the concept art though

CheetsAC7

It'll benefit you to rewatch V2C2. As a few people pointed out, Yang says "Yes!" to Ruby, then turns and says "I love it when you're feisty" to Blake. Blake gives Yang a smile in return. I rewatched it just now to be certain my mind wasn't playing tricks on me.

Terrafan

That was absolutely said to Blake...she literally turns, faces Blake and gestures towards her then says it. Please rewatch that again..this time with your eyes open.

Martin E Melcher

SDC thats whats on his face Schnee Dust Company

Terrafan

If you remember to the first episode, when Qrow mentions the door to the caboose being left open. That's how Adam snuck onto the train, and then Blake saw him briefly on the train when she was going to decouple the train.

Zirkumflex

"Oh, I'm gonna fucking murder a cunt." I feel you. There is a loooooong line for that.

CB Jones

What you said about Adam being a scary villan because he he feels real is so true. And it's something CRWBY really play into with the more personal and realistic nature of the violence, especially contrasted with the more "over the top" mech fight. Adam grabbing Blake by the throat is so far out of line with the action we'd come to expect in the show and yet completely in line with Adam's characterisation, it grabs you in a way that Calavera firing missiles at Ruby doesn't. In general the fight feels visceral and dangerous in a way the more flashy fights don't. The fight is an excellent showcase of Yang's strategic approach to fights, but I'll get more into that next reaction, for now Blake's comparison of their semblances is a full acknowledgement of what the show's been playing out since the trailers, that Yang is Adam's foil in the context of Blake's story. So as Yang says, Adam's semblance is the cheap version of hers. He throws out violence without ever having to feel it himself, when the big robot shows up in the trailer he tells Blake to distract it while he waits for an attack he can easily absorb. In contrast Yang is constantly at the front of any fight to protect Blake and her team, even to her own detriment. Character-wise Adam initially presented himself as caring, passionate and insightful only for the mask to slip and Blake to see the possesiveness, spite and manipulation that was really there. But Yang is the genuine article. And yeah, Yang and Blake are focussed primarily on eachother here, and it infuriates Adam. The "We're protecting eachother" line would've made no sense to him, but it means everything to Yang that Blake see's her as, and want's to be, an equal partner to her as they were before. And this moment, with the reminder of why Blake was so afraid before and the resolve to face him down side by side, is a massive step in rebuilding their bond as you mentioned at the beginning of the episode.

BakaSama

Pretty sure Muffet was talking about Hazel, but to be fair Adam was never a consideration for me at that point. Also, I will never stop loving the fights (particularly between the regular sized characters) in this show when it’s in its groove.

SportySpice

Wish i could co-sign this. Good comment!

Spadeas

If I had a nickel everytime Mela Lee voiced a small female character, obsess with her job and boss approval, who fight a quirky girl and her group of friend with some sort of mecha, I would have two nickels, which isn't much but it very strange that something this specific happen twice. Because yeah, Mela Lee voice Caroline Cordovin in RWBY, but also Kikimora in the owl house. Also, Nora saying "and you said it wouldn't be beach season", since it's a cliff not a beach and Cordo just started attacking them, "beach" might not be the right word here, but another one that could come while thinking of Cordo that sound the same lol

SQX Barto

Bad memory, and haven't seen that episode in ages, I don't have any problem with the ship.

Flufux

Also happened with Mosco's recent My Little Pony reaction video.

CrowOfAFeather

We got it confirmed back in V3 that Summer had silver eyes, Qrow mentioned it when he and Ruby were talking in the finale. So we knew :) Love the insight regarding Blake and Yang. You have no idea how many fanfics there are for these two, or rwby characters in general o.o Adam didn't go down with one punch, he fled because he didn't have the advantage and couldn't fight Blake alone. And there's still the stuff about budget being stolen from that factored into the whole "don't have enough for every fight" that we've been over so many times already. Adam is a coward, you heard it yourself: "I've been waiting for so long to get you away from them." He was there at the train too in the first episode. Qrow tells the two idiots that someone left the doors open, and Blake saw him when she was about to cut the cars off from the main train. It's cleverly done to make it seem like she is just seeing things, but Adam was there. NOT when Yang thought she saw him tho. Good catch with Lil´Miss Malachite and Adam! Weiss is definitely the most versatile, but powerful...Not so sure. Every attack she makes requires her Semblance and Dust, and any heavy hits needs to be from her summons. In terms of power, it's definitely Yang even when she doesn't use her Semblance, imo. There were a few hiccups in the recording unfortunately, might want to check it in the future. Yes we know you have an exaggerated hatred for Blake knocking Adam on his ass with her Semblance and again, two factors with the volume budget and Adam seeing red and falling for her counter. There's no need to beat the horse any further, it's a bloody pulp by now. Oh cool, Morgan is watching rwby? Great! I hope she'll learn the circumstances for V5 ahead of time >:) (Before anyone comments, let it be known that I am not as upset about this was previously, but I will still defend V5 from unnecessary, exaggerated slander, because CRWBY still did a lot of good with V5 with what they had) 42:43 Yep, he went there. An absolute ass. And as others have pointed out, those are not numbers on Adam's face: That's SDC. Schnee Dust Company. Can't wait for next week!

CB Jones

Honestly that's something I go back and forth on, her minion says "That big guy" which, I mean Adam's pretty tall I guess? But it does fit Hazel better, though I can't imagine him wanting to stick around in Mistral too long waiting for intel. Regardless they both seem to know where RWBY are headed. So it's not 100% clear.

SportySpice

It has to be Hazel. Because that’s the only way Hazel could know they are taking the lamp to Atlas, which he tells Salem, prompting her to shift from Vacuo (the next target) to Atlas. Whereas we know Adam was stalking Blake.

Beatonen

I whole heartedly agree on that. Weiss would be so heckin' strong if the writers weren't afraid to let her win a couple battles lmao Sure, she has her limitations, but she is supposed to have so much versatility with her Semblance, but now they just make her spam summons. #LetWeissbeaweaponofmassdestroctionagain

Geass

We don't know who else hired Little Miss to find RWBY and co, just that one of the underlings referred to them as "That big guy." It could be either Hazel or Adam, but I think Hazel is more likely to get called that. He did know where the team was headed when he reported to Salem. Adam appears to have been on the train. Blake thought she saw him when she separated the cars, but he wasn't wearing the mask. She couldn't have known he ditched it. When Yang got a flash of him at the farm, he looked like he did at the fall of Beacon. I suspect Adam got on the train, but stayed on the front half. He then waited in Argus for her to show up, though I don't know how he knew she would be at the tower.

Geass

I've never watched any of Morgan's videos, but I will keep an eye out now that I know RWBY is on the horizon. I started following several people just because they were reacting to RWBY.

Stephen Mumford

Yep, alluding to the concept of the EIC branding pirates who they had caught stealing from them.

CB Jones

Ok so my loose theory on the tower is that Saph comments that the tower was having problems around the time RWBY arrived. So it's possible that Adam was messing with it to get access to communications trying to listen out for Blake's movements, only for Blake to show up at the tower itself on her own mission. Though this is extremely speculative, he might just as easily been stalking them through the streets hiding behind a newspaper or something.

Stephen Mumford

Huh, I thought it was alluding to the stories of the East India Company branding pirates who they had caught stealing from them.

RetroBeastto

The wound on Adam’s face reads SDC Schnee Dust Company

Geass

Good point. I had considered him stalking her in the city, but didn't think he could keep up with Bumblebee to get there that quickly. The best I could come up with was that he was spying on them when they hatched their plan, but that would be hard to do without their notice. I figured it would involve equipment he wouldn't have on hand. I hadn't considered the possibility he had been camping out there the whole time.

SportySpice

I think Adam was just in the part of the train with JNR that went to Argus and tracked where they were staying and then onward.

.

I was also like that, where I was a bit cold about the Bumblebee ship after Blake left but it makes sense why she did it and it wasn't to be toxic or anything so it is definitely understandable and forgivable. I'm warming up to the ship now. It's good to have the duo back. Both of them fighting Adam is what they need.

Mare

What Miles and Kerry mentioned at a panel was that Adam got into an argument with a coworker at the mines and the coworker basically branded him.

Mare

Nope, not confirmed, Miles and Kerry mentioned, he was branded by a coworker who he had an argument with him at the mines.

Mare

Yang says it to Blake, NOT Ruby

TheLesbianTrout

I believe Adams scar is S.D.C Schnee Dust Company

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Another of my favorite examples of RWBY's rich musical language: When Blake is about to head off to the tower alone, and Yang's like "You sure you don't want me to come?", the music comes in with "All That Matters" (Yang's "I love you so much but you trigger the hell out of my abandonment issues" song from the very end of Volume 5) on a solo French horn. Tells you everything about the emotions of that scene in just a few seconds.

Muffin

I love the wondering about how Adam can see with that on and I’m gonna be honest, I think he’s just aurafarming to the max LMAOOO

Wil DeYoung

I also feel like neither Yang nor Blake truly understood what they felt for eachother until after Beacon. Like the sparks were there but neither really considered it. But being separated like they were gave them time to think and ponder their feelings which were then multiplied by how they feel now that they have met back up and they try and put things back together only to realize the pieces no longer fit like they once did.

August Perrin

hey Mosco, where did you get that Pyrrha Nikos shirt. i want to get one

Izzie Gadgets

When you referred to Weiss’s faces expressions as facial Tourettes: as a person with Tourettes you shouldn’t refer to random things as Tourettes like funny face expressions or sounds because it takes away from the realness and significance of the condition. This also goes for blindness, Deafness and any other disability. This is just a polite reminder to be aware of your speech :)

Mare

JJust remember that Blake's story arc loosely follows the "Beauty and the Beast" template somewhat physically but mostly metaphorically. Things to observe: - "Belle (or beauty if you read the book) runs away from the Beast, - Blake runs from Yang. - (Disney version) Chip brings her back - (In this case, Sun). Blake Returns to her team and to Yang. - Beast has to fight Gaston in the final showdown. Subverted by Blake and Yang having to fight Adam (The Cursed Rose who eventually became Gaston) Taken from the World of RWBY Companion guide: Miles Luna: "We called Blake 'Beauty AND the Beast' but when you take a step bnack you start to wonder if Adam is really the 'beast" in their relationship. Then the further you go back you start to see Adam as Gaston, as the 'Cursed Rose' - Really Adam is just a blight on the lives of our heroes." Note: Adam is a INVERSION of Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast (aka the Beast himself). And in Blake's arc, many involved take on the role as the beast. Like for example, Yang has to learn to not be "Too Hot." When Blake came back, she was "Too Cold." She's currently learning to get her temperament to be "Just Right." The Ideal temperament. But Yang and Blake also take on the roles of "Beauty." Like in the Red Like Roses Song: (The Line) Black the beast descends from shadows Yellow beauty burns Gold And I'm going to add this one more time from the Amity Arena game Card Profile for Adam: [Card Info] Adam Taurus used to gaze up at the sky with bright blue eyes whenever he could, between shifts in the dust mines, dreaming of the day he would leave the tunnels behind to find his place in the world. But what he found instead was himself... on the ground, staring up at the three letters that damned him now and forever. Scarred. Despised. Cold. Adam's heart grows black, his hatred red hot. The final traces of love, the beauty he let go, never returns, and as the last petal falls, Adam is cursed to forever remain a beast. Because, in this tale as old as time, there is no happy ending. In this story... HE is the monster. Adam Taurus had finally found his place, and he would watch humanity... burn. "I wanted equality! I wanted peace!" -Blake "What you want, is IMPOSSIBLE!" -Adam

Ryan

Chapter 10: "Follow in your sister's footsteps." Fun fact, Winter and her "roommate" at Atlas Academy stole an airship as their senior prank. Winter got cold feet and bailed, so her "roommate" took the fall, and it took her down a dark path. Oh shit, spoilers for Cinder's backstory! Oh no, Blake is in mortal peril! Mosco, when is the last time you said she was your favorite? Chapter 11: See? We told you there'd be a beach episode! I saw Morgan has started their RWBY journey... which one of you talked them into it? Do they have any idea of the trauma they're in for? --- So, Mosco, you're warming up to Bumblebee? Would you say it is your FAVORITE ship right now?

Cinder's Apologist

no, that was Hazel who went to Lil Miss back in Mistral. they referred to "that big guy" followed by Hazel relaying info about the crew heading to Atlas. also the brand on Adam's face is "SDC"... as in the Schnee Dust Company which the story has confirmed on multiple occasions as being exploitative of the Faunus. so yeah, this finale set is epic as hell. great fights that get you on the edge of your seat even when you've seen them several times. I like that observation about Weiss being quite powerful. I've seen her called a "glass cannon" before and I agree; Weiss can be very powerful with her glyphs and her summoning, but we also have seen her take hits more easily, plus her power tends to be more effective when she's not fighting solo. I know you hate the Haven fight but that is a prime example of why Weiss should never be left to solo fight... unless she's going up against something very easy to beat. hehehe buzz buzz :3

Cinder's Apologist

excellent synopsis! a few of these points are new to me (like the Amity Arena bit cuz I never played the game) and always love seeing people point out the BATB parallels for the Bees once we have reached this point where it's okay to bring them up :D

Cinder's Apologist

yeah, I think that's something people will continue to ponder: who fell first? in the end, doesn't really matter because there was something starting to show before the Fall forced them apart. and like you said, the separation is what drives it home - that they DO care about each other, and it makes the distance hurt all the more.

Karel Hill

He has eye slits...... Do people really not know what eye slits are? Also Freezerburn is valid although personally I think Yang's got two hands soooooo Bee's Schnees is a fantastic ship.

Zora Brightwood

I thought it was gonna be obvious that it was SDC (Schnee Dust Company), but I'm sure Elijah told Mosco after she recorded this cant blame her tho it did look like numbers, my brain can see it like numbers and letters.

EmberPanther

I have been waiting for Morgan to start RWBY with bated breath!

Justin Payne

Right so couple lore notes (obviously no spoilers): The brand says SDC, though yeah the font definitely looks like it would be numbers. Adam's semblance actually explains the inconsistencies with Adam's strength throughout the volumes. His sword's strength directly correlates with how much he's been fighting, so in a fight like the fall of beacon and the black trailer where he's done a lot of fighting by that point, he can pull off crazy things, like destroying mechs and cutting straight through Yang's aura. In a fight like the one in V5, he hasn't actually done anything yet so he was still in his weakest state. Doesn't explain how a single hit put him on the ground, but it does explain why he ran away.

Konrad Dunbar

chill nora, no one's going to take ren--oh well I guess they did huh Love that we got to see White Rose and Bumbleby both save each other in combat! Weiss trusts Ruby so much with her plans especially after their nevermore fight! The entire body of the Queen Lancer: Ruby: let me just wrap my arms around my partner FUCK ADAM!!! you were right when you saw him in episode 1, he was actually on the train! he's been hiding in argus waiting for blake to be alone!

Celly

I read through the comments as I'm a day late for this one. I saw the big comments about the SDC brand, the Bumblebee vibe (and I agree that the journey started with the laser pointer and a wink for a dance). I also vibe with your love for Maria (I smile every time she's on screen wondering what she'll say next). Nobody commented on your Renora vibe. I'm not a big shipper and I'm a lot older than the normal RWBY demographic being well into my 50s. I vibed with one ship back in the 90s, but the next was Renora in Volume 4. nearly twenty years later. You vibed with the airship scene when Nora rested her head on Ren's. To me, its the most viable ship in RWBY apart from one of the only major canon ships at this point (Ghira and Kali Beladonna plus Terra Cotta and Saphron Arc). While Nora once said in Volume 2, they weren't 'together-together' they were, for all intents and purposes exactly that. They met when they were six or seven and fought for their lives for a DECADE when they enrolled at 17 at Beacon. They love one another and I love that you sense something is happening there, Mosco. Maybe big things for the Renora ship are coming. They belong together more than any pairing in RWBY.

Vex Valor

I love Blake's season 1 bow because it's supposed to look like cat ears so she can be a catgirl without actually being a catgirl, but the twist is that she is actually a catgirl. It's a fakeout on top of a fakeout. It's beautiful. lmao

Jittercritter

MORHAN REACTING TO RWBY LETS FACKING GOOO

Caitlin Whitaker

I believe that Yang sees Adam outside the farmhouse (Apathy episodes) but her PTSD kicks in and that is why we see Adam like he did the night he took Yang's arm and not with the band over his eyes like Blake did in episode 1 of this volume

SportySpice

Any updates on the video upload getting fixed (there are a few places where it freezes and then skips ahead further into a scene), or was it an issue with the recording itself?

Andrew Hart

I think Adam was on the part of the train carrying Jaune, Ren and Nora to Argus and so he wasn’t at the farm, if he had been there, he would have had to deal with the Apathy by himself which doesn’t seem like it would have ended well for him. My theory is once he got to Argus he watched Jaune and co, knowing that Team RWBY would eventually join back up with them. Once they did he watched and waited for Blake to be alone.

Jittercritter

Blake really gave him the airplane ears

Raiku Yuri

The brand on Adam's face is SDC or Schnee Dust Company. The SDC used/use Faunes labor and he was probably branded in a work camp. It explains his hatred towards humans, but especially the SDC.

TheyWereMarried

On AO3 alone there's 9,089 fanfics in the Blake Belladonna/Yang Xiao Long tag. Then there's ones only on tumblr or on ff.net or whatever other fanfic sites exist. It's interesting seeing the similarities between Adam and Yang, like their semblances. But what I love is their differences. Their differences are what make Yang a good person and a better partner to Blake.

DominusInFortuna

Yeah, it's interesting that both Blake and Yang have similarities to another character's Semblance. In Blake's case, it's Sun.

Phoenix_mercury

V5 fight can be explained as Blake hit *him* down so he bounced instead of hitting, and charging, his sword and without his sword he really isn't much of a threat at all since that's what his Semblance is tied to

Phoenix_mercury

Yeah one really smart but specific detail that shows where Adam is/was is his mask, Yangs PTSD shows him with the mask(the last time she saw him) because that's what she remembers him looking like however when Blake sees him on the train he doesn't have it anymore, because he tossed it, however Blake should have questioned that(understandable with the situation why she didn't) because she also saw him last with the mask not without it showing that the train Adam is actually Adam

Phoenix_mercury

Yup Blake saw Adam without the mask i.e the real Adam Vs the Adam Yang saw with the mask, a small but brill detail

Phoenix_mercury

She means how he went down after one hit from Blake before fleeing, which makes sense imo as Blake hit him and not his sword ergo not charging his sword, and not giving him a chance to power it up at all, and making him take the brunt of it instead

Phoenix_mercury

Also branding cattle, ya know... Because he's a bull...

AJ

It's never been confirmed that SDC branded faunus. It's just as likely that they used some sort of device to burn a brand onto wooden crates and that device ended up being used as a weapon against Adam in some sort of uprising he was leading. There really has been nothing in the show to suggest actual slave labor is used by the SDC. Just wage exploitation of an entire lower class that is predominantly made up of Faunus. Still shitty, but a different level. Not trying to pick a fight here. But SDC branding Faunus slaves has always just been easy fan conjecture. Maybe it happened, but it's never been confirmed one way or the other to this point.

Raiku Yuri

I think in the WoR they did show Faunes being used as slaves and whipped by a Pharaoh like person, but I don't know if similar but less extreme methods continued to modern day Remnant. In the same WoR it did mention SDC and others using Faunes as cheap labor though so you may be right.

TheRavenWanderer

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe she mentioned she was also dyslexic making it even more of a challenge.

MigDozzer

What was the ship in the 90s?

MigDozzer

I dont think he was really beat in the one hit, I mean the aura breaking was definitely premature but getting hit hard like that and confronted by a much larger crowd than suspected, and one led by blake, I think shocked him and he was caught off guard. Then he was outnumbered when his side started losing their will. Still he coulda done more, volume 5 is definitely the worst volume but it has some good moments as well

ebony moyse

"What in the bedroom eyes" sent me bro 🤣🤣

SauceyRed

I have money again so I can finally continue these reactions! I have SO much to watch now lmao

SauceyRed

I am continually amazed by reactors not reading the SDC letters correctly on Adam's face lmao It's like the whole thing of Blake having cat ears (but they're actually a bow) again. As well as the whole thing of Penny's blades coming out of her back (when it was actually her backpack that was just not that visible), which is actually the only thing I also thought when I first watched RWBY. This show has a few of these haha.

Rixec2

You know, semblances are often associated with personalities. Taking that into account, looking at Yang's and Adam's semblances speak volumes by how similar they are but also how different. Yang is a fighter, yes. But she always takes the damage herself before delivering her attacks. She was a hothead, yeah, and charged right on in. But she's also a big sister - a protector. She's not afraid to put herself in danger for those she loves. And then you have Adam, who relies on his sword taking the damage. It shows he was only ever someone that wanted to kill. A coward who tried not to get hurt while wanting to hurt everyone the way he had been. He doesn't protect anyone; he only maims. The sword is his power.

Shaky Tail Studios

Very notable that Yang is a lot more chill with Blake post Apathy, I think seeing her almost die sort of knocked some of the anger off if that makes sense>

Shaky Tail Studios

Speaking of power did you notice how Ruby knocked the fucking Goliath over? Like that was just her, no tripping it up just raw force! Also she went for that headshot, no mercy Rose XD

John J Ronald

No, Adam was actually on the train. That wasn't an hallucination like Yang at the farm, Blake really did see him. And he's WEARING ONE OF HER HAIR BOWS as his blindfold. CREEP. Remember how Dee and Dudley left the caboose door wide open? That's how Adam got on the train.

John J Ronald

After the train got to Argus, he must've shadowed Ren/Nora/Jaune waiting for Blake, Yang, Ruby to arrive/catch up. He must've even listened in on their plans against Cordovan somehow to know when and where he could isolate Blake from the group.

Nihilero

"Shit fuck fart banana" broke me lol
