vampwolf progress report (Patreon)

pictures are happening :) as if there were any doubt, lol.

progress goes well! the first book's writing is done and i'm working through edits. i've picked out places for 14 spot illustrations and finalized the styling i'm gonna be using for them as well. thankfully progress on those is going very smoothly as well, and i've already got 5 of them roughed out, one completely finished (below).

i'm pretty confident i'll be able to have the book done in the next few months, but i'm not gonna put a real timeline on it since that seems to always doom me to hell, lol. right now i think the thing i'm most stuck on is naming the damn thing. i've got some vague ideas but nothing really speaks to me just yet so we'll see. that'll probably end up getting revealed when i draw the cover, which i also only have vague ideas for at this time. maybe by then the writing of books 2 & 3 will have shaped up enough that they inform my decisions.
