April Revenant Update (Patreon)

Visdev for Torei in "Revenant", as well as an update on the status of the whole project.

I almost titled this "May Revenant Update" because I'm apparently living in next week

The pictures above are my visdev for Torei in the story- as you may have gathered by now, something shitty happens, lol. The first image is the final design, the second is the steps I took to get it there (all brass, brass and bone, and all bone variations.) Ultimately decided on the brass & bone version, and then started painting over it in places to tighten it up; things like adding details and cleaning up certain spots, changing colors, removing the fur at the bottom of the coat because they were giving Necromancer Emet-Selch vibes, etc. I'm pretty happy with the final design!

Other than that, I don't have too much new information to share except that I've started a day job(!) which means I no longer have to do commissions(!!) which means I can devote all my free art time to Revenant(!!!)! I figure I'll try to do at least one monthly Patreon post just to keep everyone in the know about how the project is going.

Here's the checklist:- The writing is done, but it still needs editing in places. This'll get done as I go along. - The cover needs to be finished.- 3/25 comic pages are finished (most of them are very few panels, though, so this number is less daunting than it looks lol)- 9/20 spot illustrations are finished.

I have the first 5.2k words sectioned off and will be prioritizing those drawings first because once they're done that section will be free to read on Patreon as a preview! I don't have an exact ETA on when that'll be ready, but I'm going to try really really hard to have it done and ready for y'all in the month of May. Please look forward to it!
