This episode carries content warnings for insects, insect infestations of buildings and people, and brief discussion of gore.

This week's Drawing Maps update is a great one, not only because it's always fun to talk with Art about his characters (and, well, anything else that pops into our minds), but also because it's like a blueprint for what these sort of conversations can look like.

Art came in with a couple of ideas: He knew he wanted to play the deep apiarist, he knew he wanted to be connected to some sort of horrifying power, and he knew he wanted to play someone who had gotten in over his head. But so many of the details of what make Duvall who he is weren't there yet, and in just about an hour, we managed to connect some dots and take a loose collection of bones and build a skeleton with them.

Enjoy, and see y'all next week with another episode!

Duvall has big The Magnus Archives energy and I am here for it.

In regards to what termites build, Australian termites build mounds from 1 to 5 feet quite commonly, with some being up to 12. I'm very scared of the idea of a walking termite mound man though, so i'm glad you stuck with bees!

Is this just when Fry gets worms in Futurama?

Take a loose collection of bones and build a nice skeleton man who likes to paint around his house on an island just of the coast.

This episode is labelled #6, but by my count there's only 5 out. Typo, or did I miss one (besides Chine, Marn, Es, and Virtue)?
