On this episode of 4'ced to Watch 4Kids! Steve and Alex drudge through the first half of the Syrup Village Arc. It's all according to plan as we deal with this interpretation of the anime, and there are plenty of Veggies to go around!

On this podcast Steve & Alex will be watching through every episode of the 4Kids dub, four episodes at a time. They'll give their thoughts, they'll give their analysis, and they'll try and get the 4Kids rap out of their head.

It might be because I like Wayne Grayson (I think it was him) but I didn’t mind Jango’s voice. But it was vastly inferior to the seiyuu’s performance. Count me among the people who struggled to watch the Kuro arc (in Japanese) when I first checked out One Piece fan subbed. That was before 4Kids got it. After the 4Kids dub premiered, I went back to the fansub and am so glad I didn’t give up on the series. Once I got to Baratie I was hooked and the Arlong Park arc sold me for life. At that point I was all the more devastated that 4Kids was handling One Piece.
