ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 Partnership with Spotify (Patreon)

We are pleased to announce that we are now working in partnership with Spotify Megaphone! We are not only moving our archive of 750+ OPP episodes to our newly-designed and newly-hosted website, but we are also migrating our episodes from Soundcloud to Spotify Megaphone!

Spotify will not own our show, and the podcast will still be available everywhere it is today. This move means we will be using Spotify as our hosting provider and using their software for our episodes.

As a result, you will notice one change in the podcast: advertisements. However, we will be integrating an ad-free feed for our Patreon subscribers in the near future as a thanks for your continued support! We hope to provide more details regarding the ad-free feed soon. For the main feed, wherever you get your podcast, the plan at the moment is to have a small amount of ads at the start of the show and between segments (so we can actually cut to commercial). These should begin within the next few weeks, if not sooner.

We will now have a streamlined process for uploading episodes, the episode images, and the episode descriptions, and can hopefully make much of the archive available for everyone in the not-too-distant future.

We hope this move will help us compensate those who do such hard work for us, reimburse for more expenses, and conduct more podcast events in the future (like OPPJapan, OPPDallas, Matsuricon 2016 & OPP10). This decision also came out of the increased expenses that have arisen as of late: we have a new editor, amazing artists, a brand new website, better audio equipment for the entire crew, an upcoming fanbook, and a lot more plans on the horizon!

We want to again thank all our patrons in particular for your valued support and listenership over the last 14 years! We have so many amazing announcements on the horizon, and are excited and (almost) ready to tell you all about them!

Until then, you are MAJI!
