TLDR: There won't be any new chapters for several weeks, and I'm cancelling the current release schedule of Mon/Wed/Fri for now. I don't expect it to return after I begin releasing new chapters.

I'm pausing the Patron service during April so nobody will be charged. I should be releasing some chapters during April, but you can just consider those freebies.

Of course, all patrons will receive their tier rewards like free e-book and signed paperbacks.

Now if you want to know the details behind this decision, read the long version below.

Simply put, burnout. Not because I don't want to write but because I'm frustrated that the recent chapters haven't been up to my standards. You can really see this in the end of Volume 5, but by the time I realized that it wasn't working, I was so close to the end that I pushed through. I released Chapter 1 of Volume 6 because I wanted to give a bit more closure to the cliffhanger at the end of Volume 5 before I stop releasing chapters.

I'm still learning a lot since I'm new as an author, and one thing I've definitely learned recently is that pushing forward when the words aren't ready to be put to paper is not the right course. When I had a day job, my time was too limited to waste on writing scenes that I knew weren't going to be good, so I sometimes stopped writing for weeks, waiting until it was ready.

I thought that as a full-time author, I need to learn to write nearly every day. But that's simply not possible for me right now. So, since I've already heavily over-extended myself in terms of where I am in the story, I need to take that step back and let the scenes grow until they're ready.

During this time, I will be getting Volume 4 perfected (it releases in less than 2 weeks). Then, I'm going to do major revisions on Volume 5, starting with chapter 1 and working my way toward the end.

All the while, I'll be thinking of the scenes in Volume 6 that are coming up, refining them. When I do start writing new chapters again, the scenes will have the spark of life that makes them worth reading. I think we can all agree that Volume 6 is going to be important, and I want to make sure everyone here reads the best version of it.

Anyway, that's the long version. If there are any more changes, I'll keep everyone updated.
