Super Surprise! I've gotten far enough along in my side project to finally release information about it.

I would love my series to be turned into an anime. Of course, that's shooting for the stars, since there are so many hurdles between me and that reality.

So I figured if I can't get someone else to do it, then why not do it myself? Well, I've spoken to someone at Zazrus Studios and they've agreed to animate it if I can secure the funding. You can see a clip of their animation from the video above. They're a US-based animation company, but they do Japanese style animation really well, fully voiced and everything.

Still, animation is notoriously expensive, so how do I plan to finance it? Kickstarter.

More precisely, I'm going to self-fund a couple-minute long animation, covering Volume 1, Chapter1. Then, after the chapter ends, I'm going to cut to a montage of important events from Volume 1 as a sort of trailer to showcase what kind of stuff happens in the book.

This will give me a fully animated chapter, along with a teaser to get people excited about future events. With that, I can take it and use it to show backers what to expect from the anime series. If there's enough interest, I plan to make 20-minute episodes, just like a typical anime.

Will it work? Dunno. But the possibility is greater than zero, and knowing that, I can't let this idea slip by me and possibly haunt me as a "what if" forever.

So, look forward to updates on this animation project in the future, and who knows, one day, we may see full-length episodes of The False Hero.
