Yassssss!

Ashley Harris

Ran to watch this and Something New. Jaby and Michael will love the contrast in John Turturro's and Ossie Davis's characters in Jungle Fever whenever they get to it if they continue with the Spike Lee films, which I hope they do. Also very excited for them to watch Crooklyn and Eve's Bayou. 😁❤️

Chanda Henderson

Thanks for exploring the work of Spike Lee. l hope you delve into more. To clarify some confusion, the crowd was chanting Howard Beach in reference to the 1986 beating and murder of a black man Michael Griffith after being chased by a mob of white teens in Queens when the car he was broke down. Hoses were historically used to control crowds during the Civil rights movement and Vietnam protest. Lots of significant references. l appreciate your thoughtful analysis ♥️

Robin

Loved watching this with you guys! Your reactions are everything and Jaby looks so handsome in his button down! School Daze is my next recommendation because I love how you watch Spike Lee! ♥️

I would love for Jaby and Michael to go down "Spike Lee" rabbit hole

Jaby, you are so good at analyzing movies. FYI... The Mayor (played by Ossie Davis) and Mother Sister (played by Ruby Dee) was married over 60 year with three children. The were Black Hollywood royalty. Ossie Davis in 2005 and Ruby Dee in 2014

Baby, I would like to here more from you in the reaction (no offense, Michael) FYI... Spike Lee's sister in the movie is really Spike Lee's sister. Her name is Joie Lee.
